a human.”

Elara squinted at him before flying around him. “You are not a normal human. Your soul is from another world.”

“How did you know that?”

“Well,” She started, clearly preparing herself to gloat. “I am a high-tier spirit that, unlike other spirits, can form a human form and be seen by humans and other races. I was first in spirit racing, spirit throwing, spirit eating, spirit 5k, spirit gaming, spirit swimming, spirit flying, spirit biking, spirit driving-”

“Okay, that’s enough.” Silos interrupted, cutting off Elara’s elaborate brag. “Why are you here? Are you possessing this house?”

“I’m not a wanderer spirit.” She then stood still in front of Silos. “I’m a Guardian Spirit, a race of spirits, that can choose a single mortal to grant our powers to every five centuries.” Silos then heard the barks of the pups. He rushed down the stairs and went to the front door’s peephole, peering out at a woman dressed in the ABG outfit with a red ponytail and tanned skin.

He opened the door, his spear on hand. The woman looked up at Silos and smiled. She extended her hand.

“I’m Hira, the vice-captain of the ABG. Captain and supervisor want to meet you.” She said.

Silos shook her hand and nodded. “Where?”

“Tomorrow, at ABG headquarters, opposite of where the slavers’ house was.” She informed him.

“Thanks,” He said.

“Your welcome, have a good day.” She said as she departed. Silos watched her leave before closing the door. Behind him were the girl and the puppies. Elara had vanished into thin air.

Silos looked at the girl, dressed in rags and dirty. “Let’s go see if there’s a shower for you. After that, let’s take you to find a tailor and get clothes. I think you’ll feel better with some new clothes.” He told her.

She only nodded her head, never speaking a word.

Episode Seven "Keyfinder"

Silos took Tina to the nearby tailors to get out of her rags. The tailor, Ms. Hannet, understood the circumstances befalling Tina and took her to a backroom to get measured. There, she was swarmed by four assistants who helped dress her up, trying out multiple outfits before deciding on a final one.

After an hour, they released her back to Silos in an astounding outfit. She was dressed in a small cyan shirt and a large pinkish skirt that went down past her knees; the skirt in ruffles.

Her long beautiful white hair was washed and steam, flowing in small waves. Her dark blue eyes glistened in the faint sunlight from a nearby window. Her pale skin was washed, ridding her of the dirt that was scattered everywhere.

She was a beauty, a sight nearly overwhelming for Silos. “You’re beautiful, a goddess.” He whispered to himself. Tina heard him, her emotionless face flushing with color. Her cheeks began blushing. She looked away, trying to avoid Silos seeing her embarrassed. However, the feeling wasn’t entirely bad for her.

Silos nodded his head, asking for them to bag her clothes up. Ms. Hannet happily did so.

“There’s a week's supply of clothing in the bag.” She handed it to him as he handed her coins he got from Luther. She declined the payment, learning in.  “Take good care of her. She’s a slave without a future. Get her a future.” He nodded, leaving with Tina in tow. Ms. Hannet and her assistants watched from the open door as Silos and Tina disembarked.

“May God bless you both. Tina, I hope you do well with your new master, a kinder man than your last.” She whispered.

One of her assistants heard her and nodded. “I’ve seen Silos around the village before. He’s a kind man. During the goblin attack, he saved the puppies of two dying wolves. He’s taking care of them right now; they’re getting bigger and bigger.” She remarked.

“Then I see God has chosen Tina for a brighter future. Don’t squander the opportunity, Tina.” Ms. Hannet and her assistants bowed their heads to the heavens.

Silos took Tina to Luther’s house. Upon entering, he discovered both sisters waiting for him. The sisters looked at each other before glancing at Tina.

“She’s so beautiful!” Nikki shrieked, rushing to Tina’s side. She examined and analyzed Tina. She looked confused as Nikki ran around her, examining her clothing and fair skin. “What a beauty.”

Rachel stared at Tina, comparing her and herself. She was dissatisfied with the results.

“What are you here for, Silos?” Luther asked, looking up from his spellbook.

“What are we going to do about Tina?”

“Didn’t we talk about this before? It was agreed that you’ll take her.”

“I know, we did, but…” His voice trailed off.

Luther shook his head as he rose from his chair. “You don’t think you would be a good fit for her?” Silos nodded his head as silence overtook the atmosphere for a few seconds. “I see… you lack the confidence in raising Tina. However, she is yours. Your property, so to speak.

“But I'm an otherworlder! I’m not from the land. I’m from Earth. In my time, owning slaves was illegal for over a century or so. And I was single, not taking care of anybody. Last time I didn’t debate it because I was tired.”

“Has anything changed?”

“I…” His voice trailed off. He coughed before continuing. “I’m not responsible enough to raise another person. The only time I raised somebody was my…”

“Who?”

“The last time I raised somebody… she died. She was young and I thought I had her hand but… then she was gone…. and then the next thing I know… she was gone and I was looking for her… and nobody noticed the car… ” He spat out after a series of deep breaths. The sisters lowered their heads out of sympathy. Tina, who was very emotionless, shed a single tear.

Silos began crying, memories of a deceased girl flowing in his brain. He collapsed to his knees, his eyes brimming with tears.

“She died in my arms.” He said through sniffles. “She was my adopted sister and I failed her. I let her die. I let her die. I let her die. Good god, I let her die.” He was on the floor, sobbing his heart out. The others basked in his sorrows, a melancholic atmosphere rising to the surface.

Silos had calmed down ten minutes later, his eyes remaining puffy after crying them to exhaustion. Luther served him a calming Green Tea; he drank it without a second thought. He needed to replenish the water he lost from crying.

“Going back to our original matter, I think it’s best if we have her stay here. I’ll take care of her for the time being. The sisters will help me look after her.” Luther told him, closing his spellbook shut. He stood up and motioned for Tina to come to him. However, she didn’t budge, instead, remaining at Silos’ side.

“She doesn’t want to go,” Rachel remarked.

“It seems so, apparently this idiot has already, subconsciously, taken her under his wing. It would be best to let her stay for now.” Nikki noted.

“But I can’t, I would only be her demise.” Silos muttered.

“You shouldn’t think like that.” Rachel said.

“I agree with Rachell, don’t belittle yourself.”

“Do not belittle yourself,” Tina spoke, shocking the others. “You are my new master; a kind and strong man. Nobody else could take care of me. Him,” She pointed at Luther. “Isn’t a worthy man. He cannot talk to spirits.”

Luther, Rachel, and Nikki snapped their heads to Silos. “You can talk to spirits?” Nikki asked.

Silos nodded. “It was a Guardian spirit hidden in my new house.”

“A Guardian spirit? I heard they only show once every five centuries to brave-hearted people. It seems like Tina is right. You are the best person to take care of her. That is final.”

“I…” His voice trailed off. He then nodded, agreeing with Luther’s words. “I’ll try my best,”

Silos and Tina returned home to find the puppies running rampant on the first floor, however, never going up the stairs. They were scared by the second floor and Elara’s presence. Silos crouched down and left two bowls of dog food on the ground, picking up the supplies from Luther. The puppies scrambled to the food, slurping it up. He watched, chuckling softly to himself as he watched the puppies eat hungrily.

“I see you’re having fun.” A large light orb remarked from in front of him. He turned towards it, watching as the orb expanded to reveal Calantha.

“Calantha,” He muttered.

“I see that this is your new companion, Tina, correct?” Silos nodded, motioning for Tina to step forwards. She did so, being analyzed by Calantha. “What a beautiful girl, almost making me jealous.” She teased.

“Mind cutting to the chase?”

“Oh, today hasn’t been good for you, has it? Well, anyway, I’m here to tell you that the Spirit Realm is rejoicing, thankful to the Keyfinder himself.”

“Keyfinder?” He questioned.

“Oh, you’ll understand soon.” She turned to look at Tina, who’s emotionless facade disappeared, revealing a shocked and confused girl in its wake. “May you be blessed,” She winked at her, silently blessing Tina. “I’m afraid that’s all the time I have. My mortal body is slowly disappearing.” She whispered as her body, starting from the body, dissipated in front of them.

“Wait, you can’t just leave me cryptic words and expect me to understand them!” He shouted. “What do I do with this.”

Meanwhile, Tina felt a sudden burst of energy within her. She didn’t understand the cause of the energy.

The chest was now open, revealing another key inside. On the opposite side of the chest was a lone golden door, locked. The key to open it was in the chest, now unlocked. The key was discovered.

Episode Eight "Headquarters"

The next day, Silos and Tina traveled to the ABG headquarters, passing the ruins of the slavers’ house, and reached the building. The headquarters was decorated with leftover decorations from the festival. Aside from the decorations, the headquarters was a plain brick building with a few windows, one on each side. It resembles a typical corporate building, except it only had two floors. The otherworlder inspiration was everywhere.

As they approached the main door, two side-by-side doors with small windows, they opened and revealed the captain of the ABG. The man walked out with a stern face and tough demeanor. He walked out in long strides, mimicking the United State’s military march. He was equipped in a similar outfit, except the green camouflage gear matched Historia’s grass color of yellow.

“You must be Silos, right?”

“Yeah,”

The man extended his hand. Silos shook it. “Perfect, now let’s go inside. I’m Captain Dominik of the Arkshaw Blue Guards. You’ve already met Hira, my vice-captain.” They
