Dominic's always been abused and it became a normal part of his life. When, things go to far, and he's finally taken away from his violent stepdad, after a huge incident that is still hunting him, he's adopted by Beth and her husband who also have two kids of their own. As he's trying to adjust to a life in a normal family, he starts feeling something more for his best friend Adam...

Life is mundane, humanity has always set out to find excitement wherever it may lie. Whether it’s falling through the sky or diving to deeper depths, we will find it. Society is nothing but a bore, if only life was anything like it used to be when there were no massive civilizations. Hunting, fighting everyday just to survive, that’s the life he’s looking for. A life of fulfillment, because surviving is the most fulfilling thing there is.

Plagued with a condition that makes him change colors, Nathan must find a way to escape from his abusive father while keeping his secret safe. After living next to a nuclear power plant in Colorado, 13-year old, Native American Nathan Daniels is devastated to realize his body physically expresses the way he feels through color, texture, and weight. Unlike his middle school peers, Nathan's path toward adulthood is plagued with a confusing condition that his parents and doctors cannot explain.
