“A place to call home,” Luuk smiled and took her by the hand.
They went to the beach after check-in which also welcomed them with its warm powder-white sand. The crystal clear water had that marvellous turquoise color she had seen in her dream, it sparkled with thousands shades of blue and was breathing with hundreds small waves crowned with the white foam. The beach was framed by coconut palm-trees and Mount Otemanu could be seen on the horizon, shrouded in light silver clouds.
“Oh my God, how I love palm trees and these views. Beautiful, no matter what you look at. True paradise, better than anything I have seen...” Kate said, staring at the azure water as they sat down in the palm-tree shadow holding huge fresh coconuts.
“I haven’t even seen it in Aruba although before today I considered it the most heavenly place on the Earth, so, I must confess you were right! A bit far away, of course, but definitely worth a visit! But...”
“But what?”
“I don’t think I would travel here without you, even if I knew I would be living in the most beautiful motu!”
He kissed her passionately and they went swimming.
