She didn't wait for an answer and pulled me up in one fluid arm movement. Then, Gelharnma started briskly walking, while I trailed closely behind.

"You'll get to meet mother and father and Jaklart and Kenshon, my two brothers. You'll like them so much." She babbled all the way back to my room where she took my hand and leaned over. "I wonder what you'll look like as a Helrinian, probably taller, muscular, and handsomer. I'll see you tomorrow, husband." Gelharnma whispered in my ear, then kissed me softly on the cheek. I slipped into my room as my heart raced inside my stomach. I lay back on my bed and took deep breaths. The only girl who had ever kissed me before was my mom, maybe Gelharnma will like me and I'll have a fresh new start in Helrine. I wonder what it will be like. I went over different scenarios of what my life could be like there before I finally drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
