to go on for miles and there were new restaurant quality, stainless steel appliances.

“I told James Construction to outfit it with all the latest top of the line appliances, but if there’s anything else you need, we’ll add it, and if there’s anything you don’t like, we’ll replace it.”

I could already picture myself baking there, and there was plenty of natural lighting for my videos. I was so excited, I covered my mouth and giggled into my hands, which seemed to thrill Dylan to no end.

The living room was equally as tasteful and pristine, but there was something cold and barren about it. It took me a minute to figure it out.

“There are no pictures.”

He pulled his phone out of his pocket, and came over to me. Pressing his lips against my cheek, he snapped a selfie of us. What a dork. “I was hoping we could fill the walls with pictures of me, you, and Nugget. Our family.”

Our family. My heart fluttered and I blinked to clear away the tears. “I…yes. Our family.”

He kissed me, but pulled back too quickly. “Come on.”

Before I finished checking everything out, he was pulling me up the stairs. I thought maybe we were going to the master bedroom, but when we passed a large bedroom that was clearly the master, I frowned.

“Where are we going?”

“Sex dungeon.”

I choked on my saliva and my cheeks burned red hot. “What?”

He nodded to the last door on the right and winked. “Go on.”

With mild concern, I pushed open the door hoping that if he was serious about the sex dungeon thing, he didn’t have too bizarre a kink, and it wouldn’t be anything excessively painful.

The gasp that escaped my lips didn’t do justice to expressing how truly shocked I was. The room was large with an entire wall of windows looking out at the ocean. Oak bookshelves lined the other three walls, and each wall had one of those rolling library ladders. But the pièce de résistance was in the middle of the room—two huge, beautiful oak desks, both facing the center of the room, and each other.

“Dylan, those desks! They’re beautiful!”

“A his and a hers. I’ll let you choose which is which.”

It was the most perfect office I’d ever seen.

“I had the desks face each other so we could both work in here and still be together.” Dylan’s hands rested on my shoulders, his breath a soft tickle against the back of my neck.

“I left the room next to the master bedroom empty. I figured you might want to decorate it yourself as a nursery, or we could do it together. You can make any changes. And, you’ll need to add finishing touches, anything else you might possibly need during the next seven or eight decades.”

My heart was so full that I wasn’t sure how it still fit in my chest. I wanted to say something, but I didn’t know what to say, so I spun around and jumped into his arms. He caught me and we held each other in a silent communication sealed with a kiss.

“I have one more question.”

He kept me held firmly in his embrace.

“Ask away.”

I grinned, now knowing the answer to the question before I asked, but giving him a chance to voice it anyway. “If I wasn’t pregnant, would you still want us to be together right now?”

He looked deep into my eyes. “I can say with 100% certainty, the answer to that is yes. I would want you as my mate if we didn’t have a baby on the way.”

He grinned and used his head to gesture to my lower stomach. “But that doesn’t mean I’m not ecstatic about Nugget.” When he looked back up and met my gaze, his eyes were glowing. “You both mean more to me than anything in this world.”

He buried his face against my neck and a rumbling came from his chest. I recognized it as a purr.

“I want to mark you with a claiming mark and spend the rest of my life caring for you and our family. Are you ready for that yet? If not, I’ll wait until you are. No pressure, I’m on could nine that you’re here agreeing to move in.”

“I’m ready. I’m absolutely ready. It still scares the hell out me, not gonna lie, but it’s an excited kind of fear because this is what I’ve wanted since I was a little girl. A family. A man who loves me and will weather life’s storms with me.” I held his face. “You.”

Our bodies were molded together so I easily felt his erection spring to life against my belly. The need was written all over his face.

Dylan kissed me fiercely and impatiently, fueling my fire. He laid me down underneath him on the thick carpet, and I feverishly rocked my hips up against him. I needed him right then and there.

He had my shirt off and pants down in the span of a breath, confirming he was as aroused as I was. I tugged at his clothes until we were naked, writhing against each other, tasting one another with hard, desperate kisses.

Strong hands stroked over my body. He reached under me, grabbing my ass, lifting me, opening me, penetrating me. His forehead against mine, he eased into me until his full length was buried, filling me. I gazed into his eyes and saw devotion and desire. He wasn’t going anywhere.

I wrapped my legs around him and moaned into his mouth, swallowed the growls he returned. Hurtling towards a release at lightning speed, I dug my fingers into his shoulders and stretched my neck out to him. I wanted him to claim me. I wanted to be his.

Dylan found my mouth once more and kissed me tenderly before clamping his teeth on my neck and sinking them into my flesh. Pleasure rocked through my body, curling my fingers and toes until it broke free and I released a shattering cry. Dylan roared as he climaxed with me, his body pressed tightly to
