falchion and chimera pelt to William. “That’s an ugly one. Hideous. Not surprised however. Humans stick their dicks in everything, even goats I hear.” Said by a guy with the face of an old hairy moldy raisin.

William cleared his throat. “Right, nice to see you too. I actually have something else to buy too. Do you have women’s clothes?”

Rettete pursed his cracked lips in the most horrifying leery grin. “Hm-eh-eh-eh… My collection, yes. I have everything. Lightly worn and nicely stinky. Wait here.”

He carted a massive wardrobe on wheels in front of the vendor window, then a second one, then a third, until eventually the room behind him transformed into a women’s clothing store. The collection was damn impressive, considering that this was smack middle of nowhere. William ended up buying Rulu a white dress and three pairs of lightly used underwear. They were some kind of stretchy latexy slime-skin fabric that apparently did well in water. Bikini basically, which reminded William that he was living so close to the beach and had yet to check it out.

Maybe I could leave checking it out after fetching the staff from the Primordial Maze and have it be a reward.

William gave Rettete a cordial see-ya and returned home.

A seriously toned conversation echoed from behind the Ranger’s office. It sounded like a heated negotiation with more Rulu’s voice than Ember’s. William was tempted to eavesdrop, but decided against it.

“Hey-hey,” he announced loudly, before walking around the corner. “Rejoice citizens of Nastall, your Ranger has come to end the reign of terror of a nudist from the depths.” The two women gave him puzzled looks tainted by leftover tension from whatever they had discussed.

“Excellent, he is here.” Rulu turned back to Ember. “You may ask him now.”

“Ask me what?” William’s eyes moved to Ember.

She shifted from hoof to hoof, hesitating, “I’m not sure, I don’t think it’s my place to suggest—”

“In that case I shall speak,” Rulu cut her off. “Ember and I have reached an agreement, regarding your arrangement. Henceforth, I shall be accompanying you in your delves for the Maze, in exchange for one-third share, and the right to name my claims first from amongst the weapons we uncover.”

“Oh…” William nodded slowly, thinking it through. They hadn’t talked about looting rights, but, now that she mentioned it, he did want some cool magical gizmos and weapons. Besides, Rulu probably wasn’t after the magical swords and shields. It sounded fair.

“What say you?” Rulu demanded, hands on her hips.

William handed her the white dress and underwear. “Put these on please. As for the deal”—William looked at Ember who nodded—”it is fine by me. Your magic would be a huge boon. You get your choice pick from amongst the weapons we find, though the Maze contains one sceptre, which I call dibs on.”

“This is acceptable.” Rulu said, studying a pair of black stretchy panties. She pulled them up to her tail, but encountered trouble with the bra and dropped them on the ground. “My fins would get caught in these. Now this…”

Rulu picked up the white dress and slipped into it. After a moment, her natural slippery mucus began to seep into the thin fabric, turning the strategic areas see through and making much of the rest cling to her figure. Her thick tail lifted up the hem, enough to give William a flash of black when she twirled. “The fabric has a surprisingly pleasant wet-feel for being crafted by surfacers. This is also acceptable.”

“Mm-hm…” Ember nodded while staring at Rulu with a strange look. “It does fit you nicely.”

William detected the tiniest twinge of jealousy in her voice, though she seemed to be a good sport about it. It’s not like I can write down ‘underwear for my girlfriend’ as a Ranger’s expense. Underwear for a streaker princess, now that was, if not totally acceptable, at least slightly more ethical.

“Thank you, William,” Rulu said.

“Glad you like them.“

“I would not use the word ‘like’, but the gesture is appreciated.” Rulu said with a hint of a smile on her lips. “Now, I must admit, I am curious to sample this… Nibirian cuisine.”

They went inside to find the lid of Ember’s copper pot clink happily from boiling bubbles. Despite being a simple soup, the combination of rich gamey jerky, exotic veggies, and equally strange spices made the meal delicious. It contained one spice in particular, or perhaps a veggie, with a particularly addictive crunch. Even Rulu was pleased, and vocal of her approval, demanding for Ember to become her court chef. Ember dodged the offer, though Rulu persisted until William discouraged her.

From there, their topics drifted from the royal kitchens of R’lyeh to the Cheesus Deliveries. Rulu became persistent about ‘the ability to summon pizza from home’, forcing William to butcher an attempt at explaining the internet, which in turn roused Ember to whip out her moleskine. Her attempts at honest interrogation were hindered by Rulu’s constant interruptions.

And so, time trickled onward, until the sky went through the shades of sunset. It was a nice relaxing evening with no small amount of laughter shared. More than nice. It felt right.

And the night after was better still.

Alone with Ember, William was pleasantly surprised by an especially bright moonlight. It allowed him to drink in her curvaceous ass, thighs, perfectly plump breasts, and cute fluffy tail and ears, fondling them while the kiss hungry girl nestled in his lap. He reined her by the horns and hair, rousing an aroused murmur.

“You are eager tonight.” Ember stroked her rear against his erection as she caressed his arms.

“Very,” William admitted, tracing a greedy fondle from her breasts to ass to thigh to her hot wet snatch, cupping it as if to say ‘mine’.

It elicited a giggling whimper, drawing her lips into a smile. Ember leaned back to nuzzle his neck. “Were you
