“Matty?”
He snaps his head toward me. “Right. Yeah. Whatever you said.”
“Would you like drinks, Daddy?” Bentley asks.
“That would be perfect, sweet boy.” I cup his chin, leaning in close to his ear. “Daddy likes this look very much. I see an avalanche of treats coming your way.”
He smiles, gazing up at me with his pretty eyes. “Whatever Daddy likes.”
I growl in response. “See you soon.”
I manage to get Matteo away, and as soon as we’re in the guest room, he flops on the bed, rubbing his forehead. “Fuck, Legend. I felt like I was under some kind of spell.”
“You looked like it too. I was trying to warn you that Finn was appealing, but then they came out like that. Unexpected to say the least.”
“Not gonna lie, my dick is so hard I feel lightheaded.”
I chuckle, sitting next to him. “Same. I almost gave you guys a show.”
He laughs, shaking his head. “What do I do now? I want to touch him so badly it hurts. It sounds crazy, but when I held his hand, it felt…” He exhales with a huff. “It was intense. I want him.”
“I figured you might.”
“Tips?”
“He’s a hot fucking mess. Sleeps half the day, barely eats, no direction. Father just died, he’s spent months focused on that.”
“I can work with that. Wait, Bentley said before that he doesn’t have any experience with a Daddy, right?”
“Right, but he’s interested.”
“Okay.” He nods. “I need to find my chill before I go back out there.”
“Dude, so do I.” Then it hits me. “Fuck.”
“What?”
I exhale. “Bentley is always talking about how the IG boys are more beautiful than he is. It’s not true, obviously, but I wonder if there was some motivation for him to go all out on the makeup. My reaction might make him think I prefer this look.”
“And you don’t? Arian was always made up.”
I think about that for a minute. “Honestly, I like Bentley in a little gloss and mascara. I don’t need the rest. He looks hot, but it’s like a role-play almost. Like a scene. I wouldn’t want it every day.”
“Tell him that. He’ll get it.”
Nodding, I put my hand on his back. “You’re right. Are you gonna take Finn to bed?”
He palms his dick through his jeans. “That would be my desired endgame, but for now, I think I’ll start with talking to him. He’s in mourning, and I don’t even live down here yet. He probably needs to take it slow.”
I smile. “Good answer.”
Matty cocks his head. “Testing my desperation levels?”
“You would do the same for me.”
“I would. That’s why we’re best friends.”
“One of many reasons. Ready to go out there?”
“Let’s do this.”
When we make our way back to the living room, Finn and Bentley are sitting together on the couch, chatting. Two whiskey cocktails are sitting on the table and the boys are holding pink drinks. Bentley sees me first and his face lights up. Finn twists and looks coy when he sees Matteo.
“Shall we go out, boys?” I ask.
Bentley looks terrified. “Like this?”
“I assumed that’s why you dressed up.”
He shakes his head. “No. It was just for fun. I thought we could order dinner and just relax here.”
“I agree,” Finn says. “I wouldn’t have enough nerve to go out like this.”
“LA is pretty open,” Bentley says to his friend. “But…I don’t know.”
“If you’re not comfortable, it’s fine. I’m sure Matty won’t mind hanging out here.”
“Not at all,” he says. “We can all...talk and get to know each other more.”
The boys make room for us on the couch, and Matty and I sit and take sips of our drinks. I turn my attention to Bentley while Matteo makes small talk with Finn.
“You look beautiful, but I have something to say.”
“Okay, Daddy.”
I think about my words. “How does this make you feel? Did you do it because you like to look this way? Would you like to more often?”
He frowns. “Do you like it?”
“This isn’t about me. Answer me, please.”
He shrugs, shifting his eyes away.
“Bentley.”
He stands abruptly and walks to the kitchen. Matteo and Finn look at me, but I just nod, indicating I’ll handle it. I find Bentley leaning on the island.
“What’s wrong?”
“You don’t like it.”
“Don’t put words in my mouth, boy. I asked you a question.”
“Because you don’t like it.” He juts his chin in some kind of defiance. “You can just say so.”
“Bentley.”
“You liked it on Arian.”
Ah. I see what this is. I approach him as he watches me with steely eyes. I cup his face, brushing my thumb across his flawless face.
“Darling boy, my sweet Bentley.”
His face softens slightly.
“Why are you being so defiant and hostile toward me?” He starts to speak, but I shake my head. “I’m going to walk away, and you’re going to think about your behavior right now. I expect you to come back out when you’re ready to be my sweet boy again.”
I turn on my heel before he can say a word. When I return to the living room, Matty is leaning close to Finn, who is gazing at him like he’s a god. Matty glances up at me with questioning eyes, but I shake my head. If I know Bentley as well as I think I do, he’ll be out in a few minutes.
I sit in the armchair across from the couch sipping my drink. As predicted, it only takes a few minutes for a sheepish Bentley to appear.
“Can I please speak to you alone, Daddy?”
“Yes.”
I follow him to the kitchen.
“I’m sorry,” he says softly. “I didn’t mean to be disrespectful to you.”
“Do you want to tell me what caused this?”
He nods. “I feel very pretty right now in my makeup and panties and cage.” He touches his collar. “This. I like playing with makeup. I worried maybe you thought it was too much, and then it hurt me because Arian always wore a lot of makeup. I wondered why you liked it on him and not on me.”
“Are you ready to hear my thoughts?”
“Yes.”
“I think you
