“What do you need me for?” I ask.
He clears his throat, then speaks, hesitating to do so, knowing that I’m assuredly not going to like it. “She needs to be dealt with and she’s your Old Lady. Even if you haven’t had her in over twenty years, she’s still yours to deal with. That’s the respect you deserve, it ain’t my place.”
“You mean you want me to take care of her?” I ask.
He’s quiet for a moment. “Yeah, brother. It’s time to come home and stay home.”
His words, they make my stomach clench. Home. I can’t remember the last time that I had a real home. I’ve been moving from trailer park to trailer park for years. City to city, state to state. Living with Savanna wasn’t a home either, it was like a goddamn prison. The only thing that ever made it bearable was Tristiana, my girl.
“I’m on my way.”
Ending the call, I load up my shit without a second thought and climb on my bike. Starting the engine, I’m not sure if I can really do this, but I do. I don’t have a choice. This is brotherhood, this is family, this is my duty.
Maybe I’ll finally be able to have some peace about my abandonment of Savanna, maybe she’ll allow me to be her friend again. Maybe I’m living in a goddamn dream world. If I were her, I’d fucking hate me.
Leaving Havasu behind, I head toward Eagar and wonder what exactly awaits me. A lot of anger, I suspect, not just from Trista, but from my brothers too. As far as I know, Dragon didn’t tell any of the brothers why I left, because I asked him not to.
They’re probably all fucking pissed off with me. They’ll feel betrayed, I’m sure. I know if the tables were turned, I would feel the same way. Again, I’d fucking hate me.
It’s going to take me a long time not only to earn their trust but also their respect. I will earn both again, even if it takes me years. I’m not walking away from my life again. I made that mistake once and I don’t plan on repeating it.
I miss that part of my world way too fucking much to ever walk away a second time.

The big ape stares at me from across the room. I’ve thrown attitude at both of them and honestly, I’m not sure which one terrifies me more, Taz or Hawk. I know which one I want to fuck more, definitely Daddy Hawk—yum.
Taz and Trista run off to her room to hate fuck, leaving me alone with her daddy. If my ass didn’t ache and I didn’t have bruises all over my body, I would definitely try to get in there because the man is fine times ten.
“You look like some high-maintenance bitch,” he gruffly announces.
I snort. He has no clue, not a single one. “Why, because I like to look nice?” I ask.
He chuckles, leaning back on my sofa. “Because you’ve had so much plastic surgery, you look like a dark-haired Barbie, you live in an expensive as fuck pad, and you’re lookin’ down your nose at me and Taz like you’re fuckin’ special and we ain’t shit.”
Pressing my lips together, I think about telling him the truth, but I decide against it. Tilting my head to the side, I only give him a small smile. “I am high maintenance, but don’t worry, I take care of it all myself. I don’t need a man to do it for me.”
He shakes his head once. “That’s where you’re wrong, babe. You do need a man, but it’s not for money.”
“What’s it for?” I demand.
He hums, but doesn’t move from his spot. “You’re not ready to hear it yet. I’ll let you know when you are.”
“Oh, because you’re some kind of all-knowing being?” I snort.
He shrugs a shoulder. “You’re not ready to hear or understand it fully, babe. You will be though.”
“And let me guess, part of all that includes bouncing on your dick?” I ask, leaning forward.
His lips twitch into a grin. “You think every man wants inside you, yeah?”
I arch a brow which causes him to chuckle. “Fair enough. Yeah, I want that cunt, but that’s not what I’m saying. You need more than just a cock and some money. I’ll explain it to you when you’re ready, or maybe I won’t have to explain shit, maybe you’ll just feel it.”
“Feel it,” I whisper to myself.
The assholes leave a few minutes later. But Daddy Hawk, and his words, they don’t just disappear. They linger longer than even his delicious smell does. They won’t get out of my head.
Every day I find myself wondering exactly what he meant and what the future holds, because I have a feeling that Hawk is going to be in there, somewhere.
Chapter One

“Got a favor,” he says, his voice deep and warning.
Closing my eyes, I try not to show my reaction to his words. I already know what he wants though, I can tell by the way he’s speaking to me. Usually, he’s all soft and rumbly voiced. I love the way he says my name, especially when he comes.
“What or who do I need to do?” I ask.
There has always been something different about Hawk. He’s never treated me like a whore, he knows what I am, has since day one. He has his own whores in his club, but never has he treated me like that—not until this moment.
Until now, there has been an unspoken understanding between us. I like fucking him and he likes fucking me, end of story. He knows that I’m Trista’s girl and I know she’s his daughter, we
