made me unwilling to love. After I took the pack from him, I was full of rage. I had a short fuse for abusive Alpha's and went on a killing spree that earned me the beast title. I took out my years of frustration and anger on bad Alpha's. I was broken. My father broke me. I never had any intention of accepting my mate, but then Raven swooped right into my life.” Dimitri pulled me into a hug.

“I do believe he is capable of hurting Odessa, maybe even sending me her head. But I also believe he will keep her alive to lure me in.” Dimitri finished.

“How do we find Stefanos now?” My mom asked.

“I think he'll find me. He's got an army of rogues, Eros’ pack at his disposal and he may be planning an attack soon.”

“Should we get back to your pack?” My mom asked.

“There's a good chance he may show up here, at this pack. Once word travels that Georgios is dead, he will want to know who you are. He may have even been counting on using warriors from this pack in the battle to take my pack.” Dimitri told my parents.

“He's right.” My dad said. “You'll have to stay here and prepare this pack in case he comes knocking.”

“Raven and I should probably head back; I don't want to be gone long in case he shows up at my pack with Hades.” Dimitri told them.

“We have scouts watching Hades’ pack right now, if they make a move, we will know.” I told my parents.

“Well don't worry about us, I can hold off an entire army.” My mother said. “Raven, make sure you've got two lighters on you at all times.”

“Dimitri, when you find out where Stefanos is, let us know, we can be there quickly to help. Lia can run much faster than the fastest Alpha.” My father told him.

“Thank you. We'll be in touch.” Dimitri said. I hugged my parents and we left.

We left the pack in the jeep and drove back. I kept thinking about what Dimitri had said, how his father had broken him. It explained why he struggled so much in the beginning to accept me. I need to train more and become stronger; I don’t want him feeling vulnerable at the thought of having a weak mate. My phone rang pulling out of my thoughts, I noticed it was a call from Clair. I answered it on speaker. “Hi Clair.”

“Hi, Niko, Knox and Rocky are here with me, you're on speaker phone.” She said.

“We just heard from Rocky's father that mom took the pack.” Knox asked.

“She sure did! Looks like Roman is moving to Greece.” I said.

“How's Kosta doing?” Dimitri asked.

“Still sleeping Alpha.” Niko answered.

“Any territory breaches?”

“Nothing, it's been very quiet, but we've doubled the patrols.” Knox said.

“Alec went to Moon Warriors to check on the scouts.” Niko said.

“There's a good chance Odessa might be at Moon Warriors. Raven and I are heading there now, we should be there in about two hours.” Dimitri said.

“Do you need back up?” Niko asked.

“No, not yet. If our territory is being watched I don't want them to notice that we're on the move. I need Spiro to work with his team and get me all the known locations in Athens that Eros owned or was affiliated with. Georgios turned Odessa over to Stefanos and he could be holding her in one of the buildings.” Dimitri explained.

“That fucker!” Niko said outraged.

“Kosta was tracking Stefanos, we need to know what he knows the minute he wakes up.”

“Will do Alpha.” Niko replied.

I hung up the phone and Dimitri reached for my hand. He was on edge over his sister and I couldn't seem to understand how he kept it all together. We needed to find her and soon. If Stefanos wanted to weaken Dimitri, killing Odessa would be the next step.

“Do you want to stop and get something to eat?” Dimitri asked me.

“I’m not really hungry, my stomach has been kind of queasy today.” I told him.

We arrived just outside of Moon Warriors territory in the Epirus region of Greece. Dimitri parked the Jeep in a wooded area and picked up his cell phone.

“We'll have to leave the Jeep here and get closer in wolf form.”

“Is Alec here already?” I asked.

Dimitri's eyes glazed over, and he was mind linking with someone. A low growl rumbled in his throat and I could feel him get tense with anger.

“What's wrong?” I asked.

“FUCK! There's no sign of Hades or Odessa.” He said.

“And Stefanos?”

“He's here, with lots of rogues. Looks like the warriors are preparing to move out for an attack. They won't be able to move in such large groups without being noticed until after sunset.”

“That’s about three more hours, we’ll need to get back to the pack. Where's Alec at?” I asked.

Dimitri grinned. “Seducing information from the Delta's daughter down by the river.”

I rolled my eyes. “Alec and his trusty penis.”

Chapter 38 – Saved

“Come on Alec! What the hell is taking him so long?” I huffed and paced back and forth. Dimitri and I have been waiting in the woods for nearly an hour.

“These things can be delicate. We don't want her to alert the pack that we're here, alone.”

“Should we go down to the river and check to make sure he hasn't been caught?”

“He hasn't.” Dimitri said.

“How can you be sure?”

“Because he's right behind you.” Dimitri pointed
