into his pocket and retrieving a small black ring box. “Elizabeth, I want to spend the rest of my life loving you.”

“Yes…” With her heart bursting, and her eyes overflowing with joyous tears, it was all she could manage to squeak out.

A few minutes later, over the moon as they clinked glasses of sparkling water in lieu of champagne, Scott noticed Elizabeth staring at him with an odd look in her eye.

“Hey, superstar, is there something on your mind?”

“Is that going to be my nickname from now on?”

“Apparently, it just popped out, and it fits. Tell me what’s running around that brilliant brain of yours.”

“I have a confession to make,” she murmured, her lips curling in an impish grin. “How do I say this…?”

“I don’t care, just say it, though I’m not sure I’ll survive another huge surprise.”

“Well… it is a surprise, though I’m not sure it’s huge. When I first came down here and booked that charter, I knew who you were.”

“I’m confused. What do you mean, you knew me?”

“I, uh, I was a huge fan of your band, Lionheart. That’s not strictly true. I was a huge fan of yours.”

“You’re kidding?” he exclaimed, his mind flashing back to his days in the music scene around Hollywood.

“I had a fake ID, and when you played at the Roxy, or the Troubadour, or wherever, I was there, and, uh, I saw you a couple of times having pizza at the Rainbow. You caught me staring once.”

Scott threw back his head and laughed out loud.

“When I was looking for a place to charter a boat for Conchello, I saw your picture on your website. I couldn’t believe it. I was so excited I couldn’t sleep for a week. On that first day, when you took my hand and helped me on to the catamaran, I thought I’d die.”

“Why didn’t you tell me?”

“I don’t know,” she admitted sheepishly.

“I’m suddenly remembering…” he murmured thoughtfully and tilting his head to the side, “one night at the Troubadour before the show, a very pretty girl was standing in the hall outside that awful dressing room. I wanted to talk to her, but the bouncer hustled her out before I had a chance. Was that you?”

“Yeah, that was me.”

“Where did you go?”

“After you played my friends dragged me away to a party.”

“Oh, my God! At the time I wondered why such a gorgeous girl would have such short hair.”

“I had to keep it that way for diving. If it got too long it was a pain to get into my swim cap.”

“I started looking for you at the gigs. It was so frustrating, then I joined the Marines. Ah! Now I understand. Those sexy dreams I have about the wench—that’s why she looked like you.”

“Maybe,” Elizabeth said softly, “or maybe we really were together in a past life down here in the Caribbean, and fate has brought us back together.”

“I guess we’ll never know.”

“You were my Scottish captain back then,” she whispered, wrapping her arms around his neck, “and you’re my Captain Scott now. That’s it, end of story.”

Her Officer in Charge

As a stage hypnotist accustomed to playing for crowds at military bases, wrapping men in uniform around her little finger was a way of life for Bella Montgomery… until she met Captain Vince Valenti and suddenly the tables were turned.

Though he serves in the US Marine Corps, Vince is no ordinary officer. After working for months to track down the operative who has been stealing sensitive documents from military bases across the West Coast, the last thing he needs is a sassy showgirl interfering in his investigation. Yet from the moment he sets eyes on Bella when she arrives to perform for a gathering of fellow officers, Vince knows there is something special about her.

But when Vince catches Bella sneaking around his base unescorted after her performance, he is forced to detain her. Though a brief interrogation confirms for Vince that she is not the culprit—and in fact she confesses that she was only hoping to see more of him—her trespassing cannot go unpunished. Soon enough, Bella is blushing red as her jeans and panties are lowered, then squirming and begging as her bare bottom is spanked long and hard.

While the handsome captain’s firm discipline leaves Bella sore and deeply ashamed, she yearns to experience more of his dominance, and before long she finds herself bound, naked, and quivering with need as she awaits his orders. But there is still a dangerous traitor on the loose, and despite Vince’s best efforts she remains a suspect in the eyes of his superiors. Is she just a pawn in a larger game, or can she truly put both her heart and her fate in the hands of her officer in charge?

His Willful Bride

For nineteen-year-old Charlotte Winthrop, there is nothing quite so irksome as putting up with the tedious attempts at courtship of one nervous young suitor after another. Having grown up without discipline since the death of her parents when she was a child, Charlotte’s sharp tongue and often less-than-ladylike demeanor have caused her hapless aunt and uncle no end of grief, and they have all but despaired of finding her a proper husband.
