that girl on the charity board out to dinner again, and this time she said yes. They got married just before the tour six months ago. He did it the same way his dad proposed to his mom; the way I proposed to Austin. He bought her dream house and proposed inside of it. Austin got to help him with it, since he helped with our proposal.

He wears his father's wedding band, and every now and then, Austin will pick his hand up and rub her thumb over the band. I've seen Landon do the same to her ring.

Austin gets along with his wife, Opal, really well, so they went out to lunch and to get their nails done, before she brought her to the house. Their house had to have some renovations done too, so we convinced them to move into the guest house together, until after this tour and get the renovations done. They just got the call last week their place is ready to go. The best part they’re only ten minutes up the road.

Our house renovations went well, and Landon moved in a month after we got back from our honeymoon. The big house sold pretty fast, once we gave the realtor the okay to say it was our old place.

Not much changed, once we sold the big house. Landon still insisted on cooking dinner every night, but he would go back to his place afterwards and give us the evening to ourselves. We carpooled to our label and worked hard there.

Many days, Austin would bring in lunch for us and spend Deanna's lunch break with her having girl time. Deanna didn't even hesitate, when we offered her the job. We offered her more than she was making, but she told us she would have done it for less, because she loves being close to Austin and helping new talent.

It's been a fun ride.

"Come on, I want to show you something," I tell her, as I lead her to my dressing room and lock the door.

"What is it?" She asks.

"It's the last show on the last tour. The last time I’ll have a dressing room. I want my wife right here." I tell her.

Smiling, she shakes her head and pulls me in for a kiss.

When Austin told me she was pregnant, I cried like a baby. Our family was growing again. For three kids who had nobody but each other for the longest time, we’re growing in the best possible ways. There will be five of us soon. Austin suspects Opal is pregnant, but hasn't said anything, so there will be six of us soon.

After making love to my wife in our dressing room, we go back to the bus for one last night on the road, before heading home. We got a new bus that has two bedrooms and six bunk beds. Even though it’s our last tour, we plan to do many family vacations, and we figured we could use the bus with our kids and travel with Landon and Opal and their family, too.

Life as a family man is much different than one of a rock star, but it's one I like a whole lot more. I will pick Austin every time and know I will wake up, when we’re old and gray and still be able to say she’s still the one; she’s still the love of my life.
