and found box

Lost and found
Hiding in the darkness
Waiting for some light
Am I really lost?
Or am I stolen?
Never to be found again?
Or am I just misplaced?

To go in the lost and found box
Waiting for my carers to find me
Will they come?
Or leave me here alone?
The wait will be the worst
The anticipation
Jumping at every noise
The hope
Going
Going
Gone
Now I am sad
For there is no owner
No one to take me home and care for me
Clean me
Give me love
That little girl
Has lost her best friend
As I have lost mine
This means its all gone
The tea parties
The hugs
The secrets shared
The bonding
All gone

It has been 2 days since I was lost
I have no hope
I am in the bottom of the box
forgotten probably
Slipped the mind
Out of sight
Out of mind

But there is light
A rustling
Moving of things
A face
My friends face
She has a smile on her face
As she reaches down
She grabs me
Hugs me
Kisses me
Laughs with me

I have been found
My hope has been restored and I have succeeded
I have found my best friend again
Those times are back
The tea parties are back
The hugs are back
The secrets are back
The bonding is back
I am ready to go home now
Back to my bed with all the other teddies and dolls on the end of her bed
Back to my family

Was it an accident?

Was it an accident?
Or was it meant to be?

Am I imagining this?
Or is it all a dream?

Does this mean anything?
To you?
To me?
To anyone?

Does life mean anything?
Or is it just an empty void?

So many questions
No answers
Confused
Heartbroken
Crushed

No life
No love
No joy

Just me
Alone
Surrounded by darkness
No silver lining
No escape

Do you regret it?
Was it just a hobby for you?

Was it just that for me?

No,
It was so much more
It was my life
My love
My joy

But now it is gone
As if it was a dream
As if it was my imagination
My life forever shrouded in darkness

Drowning
Suffocating
In darkness

I need your help
You are my silver lining
You are my life
You are my love
You are my joy
You are gone

Never to return
I am out of sight,
Out of mind

Saying goodbye

Saying goodbye is the hardest thing
Watching that persons back
As they walk away
Missing then when there not there
Regretting mistakes

Wishing things were different
Hoping to change them

Losing the chance

Goodbye can be sad
It can be happy
But it is always there
Lurking in your life
Just around the corner
To jump out at you and give you a surprise

Hopefully they are happy endings
But most aren’t
But I think
That there are no endings
Its just the beginning

Do not say goodbye
Say see you later
Because if they are meant to be in your life
They will come back
Somehow
Somewhere
In your life

Silence

There is no sound here
I have no voice
No thought

The silence has become unbearable
The waiting
The watching
The hiding

No more you
No more me
Just silence

There is no echo here
There is no air

Traveling through time
Without a clue
As to who I am
Where am I

This silence
I have become use to it
It has become a part of me

The silence
The darkness
The nothing
All me

Freedom

The wind whistling in my hair
The briny scent of the ocean, stinging my nose
The full moon, highlighting my path
The small grains of sand beneath my feet
The starry night filling my eyes

Is this what freedom feels like?
I think so

The stars twinkled at me
Daring me to join them
The waves danced
Begging me to join them
And so I did

I danced with the waves
I shone with the stars
I was free
