Even on our honeymoon, Carmen drifts pass my mind

Spilling her heart to me, shockingly I'm impressed
Carmen was never open directly, with her feelings
Door opening wide, creaking, its my heart
Carmen how dare you invade my feelings, so abruptly

Silently, I gain crucial understanding
Heart torn, tug-of-war, I can't exist much longer
Apologies to Carmen, upon my demonic behalf
Desiree, my precious angel, you will sleep now and forever






An amuetuer poet who resides in Austin, TX. Served in the US Army for six years. Now goes to school as a full time student at Austin Community College. Hobbies include basketball, reading, shopping, and writing poems.
