his wife.
Together, we’re happy;
Go ahead and call me sappy.
Give me a flower,
And we can take a shower.
I’m thankful for who he is,
Him, I would truly miss.
I’m engrossed in us,
Take that as a plus.
If we were to fight,
I’d still love him with all my might.
We do what we must,
But he makes me lust.
Writing for the one I love,
The words sent from above.
I seal this with my kiss,
Because we are in total bliss.
Open Me
I sit on a shelf with my brothers and sisters.
Patiently waiting for young readers.
Hoping someone could find the time to open me.
Silently crying a small plea.
You find no dread.
New worlds are found.
Only the reader hears the sound.
I sit here on this shelf,
No one ever here, but myself.
Piece by Piece
My heart is still burning,
Tearing apart piece by piece,
Showing its holes while turning.
Threatening never to release.
The cold cannot pierce,
The heat cannot smother,
Nothing is quiet so fierce.
Nothing shall bother.
He has it still,
Stolen from me through my tears,
Never to have it fill.
He’ll keep it for years.
Life is lived as we make,
Taking it a step at a time,
Death has yet to take.
Trying to regain what’s mine.
RIP
I can’t stop thinking of you,
After all the years I’ve been through.
I still cry on that day,
Always feeling I had to pay.
Knowing you’d end each and every tear,
It seems unfair,
How no one else seems to care.
I’ve changed since then,
Wondering what might have been.
None of my friends know,
That without you, I hurt so.
No matter how hard I try,
I always seem to cry.
I’ll miss you forever,
Don’t let your wings fall, Never.
I love you with all my heart,
Don’t let me fall apart.
RIP

Same
I cried all day,
I screamed all night.
I’ve thrown things,
I fixed those things.
My heart shattered,
I’m no longer the same girl,
I no longer need you.
Secrets
My friends are always there,
There’s no doubt they care.
Fighting or me when I’m in need,
Healing me when I bleed.
Wiping away my tears,
What such dears.
I love them so much,
They’re a great bunch.
Yet all the secrets I keep,
Fighting what’s so deep.
These regrets I’ll have forever,
I can’t repent for,
NEVER.
Slip Away
In the beginning, I was lost,
I thought I wanted him at all cost.
He treated me with love and respect.
Never did I suspect,
All this time was a lie.
I gave up and didn’t want to try,
In the beginning, when he and I were new,
He said, ‘Baby, I love you’.
I told him this,
Because I thought I wanted to be his.
Looking back, I see my mistake,
I knew he and I were fake.
He left me for reasons unknown,
But now he’s not alone.
He moved on without me,
Now we can never be.
I realized too late,
By a trick of fate,
I let him slip away.
And now my heart has gone astray.
Soon
I am a reader, a friend, and another,
Yet soon to be a mother.
Soul
He captured my heart
And used it for his pleasure,
Shattering my soul.
Step Up
I was scared to explain,
For fear to become insane.
Friends said that I should tell,
That everything would be well.
Finally I stepped up; feeling hopeful,
Never again will I be fearful.
Strain
Who can save me from my pain?
Happily standing in the rain.
Love often lies.
A heart slowly dies.
Hoping I could end this strain.
Tears
Tears fell from my eyes,
My heart knowing only lies.
Earlier there was a whole in my heart,
Horridly torn apart.
Few dared to love me,
Fewer cared to see.
He left me hurt and shattered,
Now it’s only you that matters.
I was lost, alone, and scared,
Yet only you were there.
I can’t stop thinking of you,
You’re in everything I do.
The joy I feel when you’re near,
Is all I need to cease that fear.
You’re my life my friend,
I’ll love you until the end.
To Hide
Every day I wonder here,
Finding a way to hide my fear.
Torn
He treats me like a child,
Saying I’m too wild.
He keeps pushing me so I’ll snap,
Keeping me in that horrid trap.
I fear I’ll lose it,
Hoping for that one hit.
One day I’ll flee,
And on that day I’ll be free.
Till that day I’m here,
Wishing to be elsewhere.
Drowning in his hate,
Wondering if I am to share his fate.
Trying to refrain,
From causing myself pain.
Fighting with every tooth and nail,
Only to find I always fail.
Stuck in this ugly cave,
With nothing left to save.
I’ll be forever lost,
But I’ll fight with all cost.
Never truly wanting to be found,
Hiding deep underground.
I’ve seen the lies,
That the truth never dies.
There’s nothing left of my heart,
My world was torn apart.
Total Bliss
You said you loved me,
That we were meant to be.
You claimed you knew,
But where were you?
You wanted to leave,
And so you left me.
A ring I threw,
Because I knew we were through.
Now I have someone who cares,
Showing me a love that shares.
He is mine as I am his,
Together forever in total bliss.
‘Twas the Day We Met’
She said “Twas the day we met
That we made that bet.”
He told her he was bad,
And he could only make her sad.
She told him she didn’t care,
That without him, her life would be a nightmare.
He promised things would be better,
That they would always be together.
Quickly their love grew,
What would happen, no one knew.
It ended suddenly and with pain,
She stood, crying on the street in the rain.
He left without saying goodbye,
Because everything he said was a lie.
She couldn’t bare the hurt in her heart,
Slowly, she fell apart.
Years went by,
As time seems to fly.
A knew love began,
But history would start again.
On her wedding day,
I’m sad to say,
He returned to prove his love,
His beauty, like an angel from above.
She could not belong to him anymore,
Hatefully, he walked out her door.
This time he cried,
And knew he tried.
Still he would have her as his,
They would be together in total bliss.
Thiers was a love with fire,
Filled with a passion and hot desire.
Forcing her to listen to his plea,
He asked, “Why are you mad at me?”
She told him the only thing she could,
And he didn’t believe she would.
“You left me all alone,
Saying goodbye with no tone.
I lost all hope,
But I found a way to cope.
I will love you forever,
But we can never be together.”
Brushing away a strand of her hair,
He told her that was unfair.
He showed her his scar,
He had went in search of their star,
Only, he didn’t get very far.
From that day on, if you try;
You’ll find them in the sky.
Cause on that day they met their end,
On that day, their love was able to mend.
Under the Stars
I sit in my room thinking of the past,
Those times flew by fast.
I lost most of my life crying,
And I know they were lying.
Twice I let my heart shatter,
But that doesn’t matter.
I will move on,
Yet the pain is never gone.
I sit under the stars,
Noticing old and new scars.
I want a love to share,
Someone who’s always there.
Although I’m alone,
I’ll never let my heart turn to stone.
Who
I’ve been lied to,
I’ve been tied to,
I’m in pain,
Still in a strain,
I’ll be bold,
But who will I hold?
You and I
When did this hate begin?
Could we try again?
I won’t give up without a fight,
I want to make this right.
You said you would try,
But we both knew that was a lie.
You wanted to be alone,
And I found a way to atone.
It’s been a year since then,
I wonder what could have been.
I’ve moved on with my life,
I’ve found someone who wants me for a wife.
I thank my blessed fate,
To that wonderful date.
Thanks to you,
I am new.
He’s everything I need,
He and I continue to proceed.
You can laugh and mock,
But we will be lip-locked.
I loved you, but I love him more,
He’s in my heart, to the core.
Bless it be, that he’s with me.
