This is for our football team, who lost the game to our rival last night for the first time in at least 10 years. The final score was 29-15, with Parker in the lead.
It’s a camel ride, and I In a desolate street Of a ravaged city Holding the worn-out leather reins Drive towards that home On whose threshold A sorrowful woman is tethered down With a cord Of my promise A sturdy cord, weaved from heart-strings Bare-headed, for many centuries Teary eyes Eyes with the glint of an ancient star Anxious to imbibe the smell of my ashen robe And to hear the distressed grunts Of my brown camel. A poem I created because I have to love my life!
Its hard to forgive. But once you've turned your back on forgiveness you become cold and empty And maybe it is because of the person who hurt you, or maybe it is because you let yourself become weak. Only the weak can not forgive because forgiveness takes strength and courage.
There isn't much to say about this story. I wish for the reader to interpret it the way in which he or she wants to. I was feeling a little creative today. Enjoy!
