Acknowledgments

As always, first gratitude goes to the Lord. I’ll never understand why You chose someone as undeserving as me to share these stories, but I am grateful for this journey.

To my family. We are a team, and without your day-to-day help, I would never have been able to finish this novel. You make life amazing. I love you 3,000.

To parents, my greatest cheerleaders and helpers. Thank you for every minute of babysitting, every phone call, and every bit of behind-the-scenes help you have given me over the years. I am the woman I am today because of the two of you. I love you both very much.

To my friend and editor, Jamie Hershberger. This book was rough, and the amount of time and energy you put into editing it was proof of that. Thank you for not giving up on me or this novel. Great things are happening, and much of that is due to you and the love you show me. I appreciate you more than you will ever realize.

To the ladies of the Christian Indie Writers’ podcast, Tina, Rhonda and Jamie. You are my writing partners, my accountability keepers, and my friends. I love and appreciate you knuckleheads!

To Jennifer McNab, thank you not only for your meticulous attention to detail that made this book shine, but for your enthusiastic support of all my books! Thank you for being my friend!

And finally, to my Phoebe. May you always answer God’s call on your life and may you find your own Will to support and protect you as you do. Love, Mommy

About the Author

Jenifer Carll-Tong is the author of historical Christian romances. She is a graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication. Searching for Anna is her debut novel.

Jenifer lives in Michigan with her handsome husband, three beautiful daughters and two lazy dogs. She also has three adult stepchildren who have left the nest, but not her heart. When she isn’t writing kissing scenes between devilishly handsome heroes and strong, independent heroines, you might find her napping or wearing sandals in the snow. You probably won’t find her cleaning her house. Unless company is coming over.
