landed on Rose. Nothing happened. Mat pushed Rose's leg aside and picked up a golden key. He looked at his mother. Then up at the little speck of light. Mat closed his eyes and tossed the key. It went up and up and up and up and then it disappeared in the darkness.
Mat suddenly changed back to a human. He layed next to his mother. He grabbed her cold hand and said, "I am not going to let you die...die alone." Water started to pour in. It got deeper and deeper and deeper, until the entire hole was filled with water.
Mean while, Tommy and the others were running towards the house. The golden key fell into Tommy's left hand.
He said, "Hey, I have the key!"
When they got into the house, Chuckie said, "That wave is getting closer and closer and closer."
Tommy yelled, "Shut up! I can see the wave from here!"
Shaggy said, "Hey, look up there! I think I see the...the chest!"
Daphne said, "Who's? Mine?"
Fred said, "Will you get your head out of the gutter, already?"
Shaggy reached up and grabbed the treasure chest. He gently pulled it towards him. He put the chest on the table. Tommy sled the key in. The top of the chest opened slowly, until everyone saw a picture. Suddenly the wave crashed into the house. They all tried to get out of the house, but they couldn't. The water got higher and higher and higher.
Tommy said, "This is the end...the end for the Rugrats."
Shaggy said, "It's the end...the end of the kitchen food."
Daphne said, "It's the end...the end of fashion."
Fred said, "It's the end...the end of plans."
Chuckie said, "It's the end...the end of my belly button."
Velma said, "It's the end...the end of smart people."
Joran walked in and said, "It's the end...the end of being a murderer."
Scooby agreed and said, "It's the end...the end of Scooby-Doo."
Eight minutes later they were all...well, dead of course.
Dr. Pepsi rolled down a huge hill. He thought he could out roll the wave, but he was wrong. Everyone that was on Earth at that moment were killed by a huge wave.
Six million years later, a new planet was formed. It was called, Hipontilis. A rocket landed on this planet. This planet used to be Earth, until that terrible flood. The rocket's door opened and Duane walked out and down a block of stairs. The water that flooded this planet was gone. Duane saw something in the sand.
He dug it up and noticed that it was a treasure chest. When he opened it, he saw a photo. On this photo was Yonk and his brother hugging. Duane turned the photo over and read aloud:
"Yonk and Jordan Rainsford, the two brave brothers."
Duane then saw a pile of papers. He read aloud:
"Day Three- Without the key, I wasn't able to unlock my treaure chest. In that chest was the picture of me and my brother, united once and for all."
The next day Duane was in the rocket. Looking at the time machine
that his aunt had hooked up a few years back. His aunt walked in front of Duane and said, "I am going to explore the rest of this planet. Would you like to go?"
Duane smiled and said, "No."
His aunt walked out of the rocket. Duane walked to the time machine. He had an idea that would change the world. He opened the door and walked into the time machine. He saw a key board. He typed in the word: Monday. The time machine shook and shook until it disappeared.
Chapter 20 * Romeo's Story
Duane woke up and saw two young men. It was Romeo and his cousin, Benvolio. They walked past Duane. Romeo said, "I wish that one of these day, thou shalt find that one girl that will bring me pleasure, when I want it."
Benvolio laughed and said, "Oh, please. You nor me will never find that one girl. None of the girls even talk to us."
Romeo frowned and said, "True, but thou shalt find a girl that shall talk to thy."
Benvolio smiled and said, "Good luck with that." He walked away, away into the shadowly woods. Romeo climbed up an oak tree and stared into the white fluffy clouds that lay above like a blanket in the sky.
Duane said, "Hello, I am Duane. I am from the future. Who are you and where am I?"
Romeo said, "I am Romeo. You are in the Blue Colony."
Duane said, "Oh, ok." Duane ran off into the forest.
Suddenly Romeo heard a girl's voice. That girl wasn't talking, but singing. No one in their right mind would ever sing, unless they wanted to be killed. Romeo climbed back down the tree and followed the girl's voice, until he came upon a tall wooden wall. He put his ear to the wall and heard the girl sing. He then saw a maple tree that he could climb and look over the wall and see who was singing.
He climbed up the tree and stood on one of the tree's branches. He saw the girl. He yelled, "Thou shalt not sing unless thy wants to die."
The girl looked up at Romeo and smiled. Romeo smelled her apple-scented lips. The girl said, "Oh, I am sorry if my singing got to you. Please forgive me."
Romeo smiled and said, "I forgive you. What is your name?"
The girl said, "I am Juliet. I am the daughter of Capulet."
Romeo frowned and said, "Oh, so you are the daughter of Mr. Capulet? The man that burned down my tree house. The man that killed my dog. The man that betrayed me and my family."
Juliet said, "Yes. What is your name?"
Romeo said, "I am Romeo, son of Montague."
Juliet said, "Oh, so you are the son of Montague? The man that killed my best friend. The man that tried to rape me. The man that thinks he is SOOOO smart."
Romeo said, "Yes."
A deep voice yelled, "Romeo? Romeo, it's time to eat!"
Another deep voice yelled, "Juliet? Juliet, it's time to bathe."
Romeo and Juliet looked at each other and said, "Got to go, by."
They both replyed, "By." They laughed. Juliet dashed off into the forest. Romeo climbed down the tree and ran towards his house. When he got inside his house, he saw Capulet's wife sitting at the kitchen table talking to Montague.
Montague said, "Oh, finally you have arrived. We have a visitor."
Romeo stared at Juliet's mother for a long full minute. He then looked at his father and said, "Why is she here?"
Montague said, "She is here because she got kicked out of the house. She will be staying here with us."
Romeo's mouth fell open and looked as though he got shock by a pistol. His heart was beating faster and faster. He said, "H-How w-wonderful."
Capulet's wife smiled nerviously and said, "What a polite child thee have."
Montague was pleased with Romeo. He said, "Son, please sit, so we can start prayer." Romeo stared at Capulet's wife while he sat down. "O.K, who shalt start the prayer this evening?"
Capulet's wife said, "May I?"
Montague looked at her and said, "Of course, ma'am."
Capulet's wife and Montague closed their eyes. Romeo didn't, he just stared at Capulet's wife. She said, "Father God, help each of us to understand the wiles of the devil and to be steadfast in our determination to resist temptation at each step. We readily acknowledge the tyranny of the forbidden and want to be self-controlled and alert, standing firm in the faith as we resist the devil who prowls around like a roaring lion seeking for someone to devour. Thank you for the power of the Holy Spirit to resist and to overcome. In Jesus Name, Amen."
Capulet's wife and Montague opened their eyes and looked at each other.
Montague said, "We have never heard of a prayer like that. That prayer was outstanding!"
Capulet's wife said, "Thank, you. What is the prayer thee usually say?"
Romeo said, "We just say "Lord, thank you for this food in front of us, Amen."
Capulet's wife said, "I am sorry to say, but that prayer isn't really a proper prayer. That prayer is too short and it only talks about food."
Montague looked at Romeo and then at Capulet's wife. He said, "I am sorry, ma'am. My son has been acting strange lately."
Romeo got up from the table and yelled, "You disobeyed the second rule of our small town! Thou shalt not talk about their children!" He walked out of the room, his food untouched.
Capulet said, "That's your second rule? Our second rule is: Thou shalt not spit on each other."
Romeo walked into his room and sat on his bed. He looked out of the window and saw the wooden wall. He opened his window and hopped into the nearest tree. The tree branch that Romeo was holding onto, broke. He fell and fell until he landed in a fountain, which was in front of the porch. His clothes were wet and he was wet, as well. He got out of the fountain. Suddenly a low dark mysterious voice called out, "Romeo? Are you O.K?"
Romeo look on the porch and saw Abram. Abram was Montague's servant. He kept the lawn nice, he kept the house clean, and he kept Montague out of danger. Romeo then heard another low dark mysterious voice.
It said, "Romeo, why did you climb out of the window?" The voice belonged to Balthasar, Montague's other servant. He took care of Montague's children, house, and wife. He also cooked the meals for Montague and his family.
Chapter 20 * Romeo's Story
Romeo took off running. The two servants ran after him. When Romeo got to the wooden wall, he climbed up his tree (which he climbed earlier in the story to see Juliet) and jumped over the wall. He landed in a pond. He swam to shore and stood up. He was wet and now covered in seaweed. He heard the sevant's voices yell for him. Romeo ran until he was in front of Capulet's house. He peeked into the window and saw Juliet, Capulet, and Romeo's mother (which is Montague's wife) all at a table eating and talking.
Romeo stared at Juliet in her red dress. She was everything he wanted in a woman, but he knew his father would be upset. He thought: Who cares if he isn't happy. This is my life, so, I will do as I please. He walked around the corner of the house until he came upon a house. He knocked on the door. When the door opened, he was face-to-face with Peter, Sampson and Gregory. These three characters were Capulet's servants. Peter mowed the grass; Sampson cleaned the house; and Gregory cooked the meals.
Peter said, "Child, you disobeyed rule one. Rule one is: Thou shalt not knock on wooden doors."
Romeo asked, "Then how was I supposed to
