Biblical Prophecy holds within it certain elements which cannot be found in its modern counterpart. For instance, in Isaiah's chapters 7-14, there is a growing awareness of accuracy in forecasted history which is uncanny when it is overlaid with historical accounts that were after the fact.

The prophet viewed everything through the eyes of the Lord God, not determining his reality by his surroundings or his circumstances or his times. Jeremiah was not blinded by the opinions of others, the ruling courts of his day or his rejection by the established clergy. He had been to God's Holy Mountain and knew things are "not as they seem." Not trusting his own reason or guiding his own pathway, he sought wisdom from only one source.

I know for a fact there are places in Him that are hidden and are full of the treasures of His Wisdom and Knowledge. The reason I can attest to this fact comes from my experience in researching and writing Solomon’s Secret.

Plenty of evidence can be found among both the Israelites and the early church for seeking the mind of the Lord. When faced with issues, wisdom directed both entities to stop and find the path of His thinking. Here is a passage in Leviticus which grabs one's attention along this line.

Written for Past Loves Day Contest 2009. I've never been religious, but it's funny how prayers work out sometimes. It's amazing and sad at the same time, but still it won't make me believe. How a relationship awakened thoughts on religion and life.

Having the same mind, having brought every thought to the obedience of Christ, having eyes opened to see in the Spirit, having learned not to lean on one’s own understanding changes one’s spiritual perception.

This book is a testimony of a transformed life of a troubled child growing up in a dysfunctional home who was not equipped to handle the world. It is an example of what happens to children who become adults physically, but not emotionally or spiritually. Foolish decisions and immaturity lead to a life not pleasing to anyone. Thankfully, major events culminate in a new found life in Jesus Christ. This book is for those who are struggling with life in this world.
