This book lists thirty five out of many reasons why I fell in love with my cat. He is no longer with us and this book will be a tribute for the joy he bought and memories he left behind.
Alison thinks her life is normal. Other than the fact that she always knows the time, there isn't really anyting else that isn't normal. Well not to her. Nippy, her cat follows her around like a lost puppy. Throw in a tree which pulls her to sit in its branches and a new boy showing up, claiming to be her guardian and changing her world and normal no longer fits. Follow Alison as a world of magic and witches comes alive, and she's trapped, unbelieving, in the middle of it.
This book includes three drabbles written specifically for the 100 word limit drabble contest. I hope they are enjoyable, if anyone would like to read them.
When your pet dies, you feel as if it's the end of the world. As for me, Sapphy, loosing my cat Lola was as if I wanted to run away an never see any other cat again. I thought of Lola as a lion, because she always used to sit on the rocks outside our front lawn, look out into the woods and would focus on only one thing. Finding mice.
Melva Zimmer, an American Writer, has been wanting to publish this story and many others for many years. Thanks to this website, her goals can be achieved. She originally wrote this story when pets were being dumped and thought of this as wrong, then wrote a story about it.
