New School. New Life. New Friends. Anna is at the junction of her teen years. She has started a new school for her final year and she is learning that you can't have it all. She meets Nic, who is everything that is wrong for her. But the heart wants what it shouldn't have. And sometimes there is a reason for everything. But the hard part is working out why.
Through my journey, I have been mangled by dogs, torched in the face, half-drowned in a river and trampled by wild horses. I’ve scaled mountains, trudged through swamps, hiked through forests and crossed an ocean on a hand-made raft. Enemies fell to my blade, both honorable and impious. Through it all, hounds bayed forever in my ears and arrows slung at my back.
This is a compilation of my grandmother's life based on actual events. She struggled much of her life to embrace the little identity she had after her mother's murder and find answers about her family history. Along the way she discovered more than she bargained for. She overcame abuse, lost loves, and encountered new opportunities with an open heart and mind in order to climb over every hurdle. We complain about daily and trivial issues when her life was overflowing with turmoil.
