I've done many poems while on hiatus from book writing here on Bookrix. I went to a poetry slam with some of these and they are my best work known so far. They are posted as is hence the title. I hope you enjoy reading these as much as I enjoyed writing them.
Shoes, the cat anyone would adore. However if you look way for one second, you may find your self being slightly dead

You wonder why your partner will always go back to bed in the morning?...now you know why.
This is a poem about the events of a date in 1978 that will stay etched in my mind forever.
