When I was 12 I lived in New York with my Uncle Mike. He was and has always been my hero. He is your typical newyorker guy. Got the looks that could kill with those big blue eyes. He took in one of my best friends cause his parnets disowned him. Unlce Mike took him in as a friend to him. His name is Tony. He was my first love, my first everything, and yes I mean everything. My unlce and I were in a gang. He was the boss. Everyone in it was like family to me. We looked out for eachother like Italians should. Tony joined with us which was the biggest mistake of our lives. Tony and I were in love and knew it. When I went out on a hit he came with me. Well one day our rivals wanted to "talk" to me. My unlce and tony decided to go instead of me. That night I told my unlce I was pregnant. He was so happy for me and asked if Tony knew. I told him no and that I was going to tell him after you and him came back tomorrow. It was a plan. They next day was routine and we all ate breakfast together and me and Tony drank a beer and talked. I told him I has something to tell him when he gets home. Before they left I hugged and kissed them both and said I loved them. Two hours pasted and I was getting worried. Finally my uncle walked through the door. He looked sad. I asked where Tony was ans tears came to his eyes. I got scared and knew something happened to my love. I franticlly asked what happened. He sat me down and told me. He said, "Tony was shot in a drive-by from the rivals. He was shot in the face, chest, and throat." I could have died. I screamed I didn't tell him and that it wasn't fair. For the next two months I walked around New York, gun in my boot and looked for the man that shot my love, the father of my baby. I never found him. Later my unlce asked if I wanted the baby. I said no. Im 13 years old and don't have the father. I can't do it alone so no. He took me to the doctor and we terminated the pregnancy. For all you out there don't ever get an abortion!!!! It hurts physically and emotionally. My uncle Mike told me it might be best to go back to Ohio to get away from all the drama here. So a week later he took me to my mothers house. That is where I am now. I will never forget anything that happened there. He will never be forgotten. Tony<3
