Rosaletta Verbron’s life story

Galen Verbron was at his wife, Ramona’s, side as she gave birth to their first child. Soon the room filled with awe at the sight of the Verbron’s new baby girl, but the mood quickly changed when Ramona, the mother of the baby, gasped at an excruciating pain. She took her last breath before her eyes rolled in the back of her head and her heart stopped beating. Galen rushed away from the scene as many doctors tried to revive the already dead body of his wife. After uttering quiet sobs he realized there was a baby in his arms. Ramona loved the name Rosaletta therefore that would be hers. As Rosaletta grew, the tragic death of her mother haunted her. Her father just told her that she is strong and her mother was weak. Galen knew that his daughter had been destined for great things. Since she was the age of 7, Rosaletta had been trained countless hours to be a great hunter. She spent all of her time training to be the best Night elf hunter there ever was. She had the finest bow and arrows in Shadowglen and was quick on her feet, reaching high ranks. Day 1

Day 1- the diary of Rosaletta

I rushed Arthena Harbor in hopes to get a dining room seat close to the window to find the ship completely empty. I suppose on a day like this, foggy and dull, everyone would be indoors but not even a single person was on the ship heading to Stormwind. I have lived in Arthena 3 years but I felt the need for change. I considered moving back to my homeland, Darnassus, but the people there rely too much on nature and smarts. Being rank 80 I believe that fighting is the way to go. That is one of the reasons I fell in love with the land of Goldshire in the Eleywm forest. They fight to protect and fighting is there instinct. I also found my clan there. The Whitelighters are a guild that accepts all races but has precise ideas and ways of life. I fit in perfectly and members even say I am gifted and should be leader. That’s when I left for Arthena, I was ready for power. I fell in love with a good friend of mine Vencine, a human mage who kept me company but left him back in Arthena because I’m afraid of my feelings for him. I didn’t want to be close to anyone but Faith and I certainly didn’t want distractions from my destiny. “We’ve landed in Stormwind Harbor Rosaletta,” yelled Captain Gerard whom I have come to respect. “We sure are gonna miss you down in Arthena, you made things cheery”. I sighed not wanting to say goodbye and slowly walked onto the dock.
Stormwind Harbor was hustling and bustling with activity. The weather cleared and the place was crowded with people. I quickly made my way through to a path that leads the Eleywm Forest. “Rosaletta… is that you?” I quickly turned to find a Night Elf staring at me. “Do I know you?” I spoke quietly. “I don’t know if you’ll remember me but we trained together as kids, my name is Lucindla.” Memories flashed in my mind as I recall my training partner who was a Rogue, she was street smart and trained to defeat monsters that had killed her family. “Of course Lucindla, How have you been?’’ “I am Fine I suppose but since you’re here I need your help with a mission of mine”. “I’m afraid not, I am tired of dungeon raiding.” Her face turned grave as she spoke. “No I need your help to rescue a friend of mine who has been taken by goblins”. “Goblins aren’t a big deal, I’m sure you can handle it yourself’’. The last encounter I had with goblins was back when I was rank 32 and it was nothing compared to what I’ve faced recently.“These aren’t just any goblins; they are rank 85 and incredibly powerful.” Goblins like that wouldn’t make an effort to kidnap just anybody. “Who was it exactly that was taken by the goblins’’, I said as her face turned from solemn to distressed. Her voice cracked as she talked “Vencine, he told me he came here to look for you when nobody had seen you and goblins just snatched him.” Shock covered my face; I couldn’t breathe. The world blurred as I remember the day I left. When Vencine had invited me to dinner I had decided to go back to Goldshire, I didn’t want to go to the dinner in fear he might propose. It took a whole two days before the ship could take me to Stormwind he must have found another way to get here. “Rosaletta!” Lucindla’s high pitched shriek interrupted my thoughts as I realized I was on the floor. I was able to get up but was still immensely dizzy. “How did he get here Lucindla?” I whispered in case my voice would fail. “He sailed his own boat and before he could even get off he was taken, I tried to run after but those goblins are fast.” That didn’t make sense goblins don’t go near water and even then the guards must have seen them and attacked. Goblins don’t kidnap humans either. “None of these makes any sense.” Lucindla’s expression went blank for a moment before she said “It doesn’t have to, all we need to know is that Vencine needs our help.” My head filled with doubt. “How are we supposed to find him, there are many caves to search.’’ Lucindla spoke with almost an irritated tone “I know where it is I just need help to fight them, I also found a willing paladin to accompany us on our journey”. “Where is he” I said in a desperate manner. She replied “he’s in the Valley of Heroes, his name is Aiden and he is rank 73. Since I’m rank 62 and your rank 80 we should be able to overcome the goblins.” I decided it would be best to have more people so I suggested we stop in Goldshire to recruit, train, and rest.
I summoned Faith for a ride and we were off. It was mainly quiet on the way but I did notice the paladin named Aiden staring at me quite a bit. “Do you need something?” I asked in a polite manner not wanting to be rude for accusing him of staring. He blushed red and said “no I just think you’re….beautiful...” I almost smiled at the flattering comment but before I could answer Lucindla pointed out Goldshire was just up ahead. Faith got excited and nearly knocked me off her. I put her in the stables and asked the innkeeper William for 3 rooms not wanting to share a room. William must have noticed my rather depressed mood for he didn’t speak. I hurried to my room and sobbed until I fell asleep.

Day 2

Day 2-

The light from the sun woke me up and immediately I felt the sadness running through me. “Knock, knock”. I turned to the door to find Aiden standing in front of the threshold smiling wide. I hated his enthusiasm. He seemed eager to fight not knowing the dangers that lie ahead. “I brought you breakfast, I can only assume you’re hungry.” He held a tray in his hands with bread and porridge. I smiled pleasantly for my stomach had been growling. “Thank you very much” I said as he handed me the tray. I took a few bites and cleared my mouth before I spoke again. “Any luck finding more people to join us”. He nodded “a Priestess and Mage are going to accompany us”. He continued to smile wide and to stare. I didn’t want to be crude so I said nothing while I ate. It wasn’t till he sat on the bed next to me and pulled a strand of my hair back that all kindness had evaporated. I poured the remains of my meal on his head and pushed him off the bed. Expecting him to be totally outraged instead he laughed and said “wow your feisty and sensitive, I like it.” Usually the words would make me call him absurd and unreasonable but I just laughed too and helped him up. “I’m sorry, here let me help get the porridge off your head.” I quickly grabbed a towel and wiped his head and face. When I was done he grabbed my hands and pulled me close. I was close enough that I could feel his heartbeat. “Umm… perhaps I should go greet the new members of our group.” I was unable to move an inch away. He looked in my eyes as he spoke “you’re the prettiest person I’ve ever met. You’re clever, a great hunter, and your independent. I’ve never met anyone like you in my years and I have no intention of letting you slip away.” I blushed at his words, Vencine had never said such kind things to me and this man who I’ve barely met knows me and compliments me as if I’m the greatest person in the world. Then I remember the feelings I felt for Vencine that made me leave him, but as I sat there with Aiden I felt happy and it was as if the world didn’t matter. It was just us. As I stared in his deep brown eyes I felt more love than I ever knew was possible. I felt drawn to him like gravity. It must have been minutes that we just sat there not moving just looking. It wasn’t until I heard someone clear their throat that I broke from this mysterious spell. That was my only explanation, a very powerful love spell but as I
