Another Night on the Water!!
Wow! I couldn’t believe my nose as I got a strong whiff of the ocean as the Mako started to take off through the water toward the island. The air was filled with the smell of the ocean with a faint scent of a breeze in the air. If you listened closely you could hear the water splashing up again the sides of the boat. I gasped when I saw how beautiful the moon was shining in the moonlight. It was the kind of light that made all the curves stand out on a naked body.
Squinting, I detected dolphins swimming gracefully through the serene, greenish colored water. Being on the water enables me to forget anything that my mind consumes; therefore, watching the dolphins glide gracefully through the water made me wonder what it would feel like swimming with them. “I could only imagine,” I said to myself. Suddenly, the dolphins disappeared into the deep, dark water. They only thing visible was the stream of water trailing behind them as they swam off in the mouth of the open sea.
It was hard to ignore the sound of the music playing in the background of the boat. In the distance I spotted a pole which made me feel happy inside. When I touched the pole it seemed a little cold. As the music got louder, the coldness went away. I ran my hand along the long, thin pole and wondered what it would be like with my body wrapped around it. My body began moving slowly around the pole in a slow motion. My body glistened in the moonlight as we made our way through the water. If I was quiet enough, I could hear the water in the stillness of the night.
Standing quietly I noticed the engine cut off completely. In the distance I spotted an island that was surrounded by a lot of people with a bomb fire the size of an enormous cloud. Off in the distance I could hear people laughing and overjoyed with amazement. It appeared that they were having a splendid time. The flames were blazing in the moon light with shadows of all shapes and sizes. There was a faint scent of soot and flames from the fire in the distance. My eyes widened as I noticed overjoyed people partying on the island. My mouth watered just thinking about the beverages that they were consuming.
Listening intently, I detected the sound of the engine start again. It was time to start moving again through the water. The boat trudged through the open sea at a very slow pace. “Wow, I really do wish I could have observed the people at a closer proximity!” I exclaimed. All I could do was imagine once again what it would be like to party with unfamiliar people on a deserted island.
We finally reached the dock and had to say good-bye to another wonderful evening on the water. As I rode home that night I reflected on the adventures that we encountered that evening. I can’t wait to go on another adventure on the Mako in the light of the moon.
