The life of a 10 year old, Laurie Vasquez [bill gates books recommendations txt] 📗

Laurie was a 10 years old and in the 5th grade, she wasn't very tall but not that short, she had long black hair and always wore a pigtail.She had a best friend named byron. Byron was 9 years old in the 4th grade, had short hair, and was very small. They were best friends for life even though they had some problems in her life, byrons mother didn't like him hanging out with Laurie that often, who knew why? Well, they pretended they wern't as good as friends untill they got on the bus, but then her buddy carolina would always want to sit next to her to, so they said byron sits next to her in the afternon and carolina sits next to her in the morning. One day Byron and his friend were fooling around with his DSi and they took pictures of everything they could see, there friend Ama was so retarted and thought she was the center of attention, Laurie didn't wanna take a picture but byron did, so he tricked Laurie and ended up taking a picture of her..He showed Laurie but laurie gave up.
One morning byron had some bad news to tell Laurie, He's mom was pregnet...The bad thing was, he was moving he told her not far away, but he wasn't coming to the school anymore..Laurie really didn't want him to leave, but she didn't cry about it either. So she told him " Thats great." He knew she would be sad..So for the rest of the bus ride home he didn't talk to her.so they went walking home and Byron asked "are you angry?"
Laurie responded in an angry voice " Do i look Angry?"
Then that lead to akaward silence.Then the next say byron told her that "He was moving in 5 days"
Laurie looked at him and asked "How long have you been keeping this in?"
He answered"About a month or so.."
She felt kinda sad that her best friend was leaving, but that wasn't going to ruin her day.For the rest of her day she stayed quiet and kept thinking of all the good times they had together. When she got on the bus for the ride home she told him that she was going to give him something so he would remember her. Then 5 days past and it was time to say good bye. Laurie had found something that he would love, it was a small little soccor ball that she wrote on that said "REMEMBER ME ALWAYS UR FRIEND LAURIE" She then said i don't give a crap if you lose it, i will kill you if you forget about me..She then walked off the bus happyly but this was only the beggining of her troubles, What was she going to do when all her friends were busy at home sick or on a vacation she had to SIT ALONE!:O
Laurie knew it was bad, but she didn't know what to do! So she just hoped for the best.Then a few weeks later her grades were droped from B's to D's, she thought it wasn't that bad so she didn't care, All these days past and nothing that interesting happen her life was like hell, but she just thought what would happen if byron stayed? Probley the same and she knew that byron was never going to stay there with her he had to go with his family and go live life someother way, and she knew she would have influnced him to be a kid like her, and trust me no parent wants that for a kid. Who knew what byron turd into.
Years past and Laurie turned 11 Her life changed and she had no care for byron she didn't think of him for months. Her life was perfect for her, she had a guy liking her she had great grades, she was perfect to all the guys! Until one day the teacher said "THE 5th GRADERS ARE COMING TO ARE SCHOOL TODAY TO SEE WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE! Laurie knew byron was coming cause why would he? So, Laurie was trying to avoide seeing him cause if he saw her like this he would have thought she was the strangest, so Laurie thought she was all good walking to Tech-ed with her Friends, and then she say byron and Her eyes poped out like the cartoons on tv, but she wasn't going to make a fool outta her self, she went on and said "Hey buddy" He said "hi" in a soft voice, Then laurie Skipt to class cause she awas so happy for seeing him, then they went into class and the thing was... 5th graders were going to come, she knew it his class cause his was the only one there so far, every one told Laurie "Hey don't teach the 5th graders new language so Laurie kept her mouth shut and made sure no bad words came out her mouth. Then they came in and Laurie was sitting in her seat not letting any of the kids sit on her seat, her teacher sent her to work but she refused to go, so he told her "If you don't go right now you have lunch detention, Laurie just left with a mean look on her face her friends asked what she was doing and she told them that she didn't want a migget sitting on her seat makin it all warm with there dirty butts!
Byron was in the class and he sat at her desk just to bug her, she stared at him for about 10 minutes looking at him and he looked back.She tryed to stop getting his attention but every were she went he followed so then the bell rang and she went to her desk and Asked him "Hmmm, like my seat?"
He responded "Yes, i love it, you've changed alot..." She said"Yeah, i think i know that" and taking her stuff and going.
