was at fault. “... I did something cruel to you.” He said, picking up his gaze. “I understand that and I’m sorry. Now, can you forgive me?”

“No,” she shook her head furiously. “You don’t get to apologize and now it’ll be water under the bridge!” She exclaimed. “You left me while I was being ridiculed. When I was being bullied for failing to summon a beast, I looked for you for help. Guess what?” Her voice became teary. “You turned your back on me, so don’t ever think about me forgiving you. You betrayed me, left me out to die. How can I trust somebody that betrayed my trust; somebody that I saw as my guardian suddenly picked up and moved out? This guardian was meant to protect me from bullies, yet pushed me in front to avoid being bullied himself.” She walked up to him, whispering into his ear. “Go to hell.”

She turned around and left his hut, leaving the door open as she disappeared from his sight. Lucas, sitting on the table with a half-eaten apple, intertwined his fingers. “Go to hell, huh?” He muttered to himself. “I’ll be there soon enough. I’ll repent for my sins there, maybe then you’ll forgive me.”

A blue-cloaked man emerged from a boat onto the wooden dock. He strolled past a few sailers, who barely noticed his presence, and approached the end of the dock. He crossed onto land, walking further into his hometown; Cidon, Florida. The town was in the shape of the head of Mjolnir.

“I am back… back home Cidon.” The man grumbled.

He headed further into town, crawling up the head of Mjolnir, and reaching a large sign on his left. It read “Stars Airfield” in bold letters.

“He… He really did it.” The man muttered to himself, suddenly throwing himself to the side of the concrete sidewalks. He dove into the bushes, avoiding the sight of a passerby. The person was looking down at his phone, never noticing the man or his sudden disappearance. The stranger walked by without ever once glancing at the man in the bushes.

Once the stranger disappeared, the man came out of the bushes. “This is Cidon, there are no guards here. I’m… I’m safe.” The man muttered to himself. He headed towards the airfield that was locked away behind a ten-foot metal fence. The main door was guarded by two men in black attire.

The man slowed his pace, his hand brushing past the katana strapped to his back. He hesitated in drawing his sword. He stayed out of their sight by an inch - keeping to the darkness of the night. The moon lit up a stubby path.

“This is Cidon.” He took his hood off, his grey eyes staring at the guards intensely. His brown hair was nearly blown out of its place by the wind. He approached the guards, spooking them.

“Who are you?” One guard asked.

“My name? It’s… Aaron. Aaron James.” Aron responded. The guard shot him a strange look.

“What are you here for? Do you have an appointment with Mr. Kooris?” The guard asked him. The second guard took out a walkie-talkie, muttering something into it.

“Yes, tell him my name and he’ll remember me.” Aaron confidently stated. He glanced around his surroundings for wandering eyes but found nothing. His assassin training still kicked in, even after he returned to Cidon.

The first guard glanced at the second guard and they shared a weirded-out look before they reported his name through the walkie-talkie. The second guard glanced up at Aaron, taking in his appearance and telling it to the person on the other side.

The cloak Aaron wore fit tightly around his body, suffocating his muscles, which bubbled up against the clothing. He had a handsome face and sharp features. His nose was small, but not to the point where it didn’t fit on his head. He had an oval head which played well with his large eyes. His eyes were grey in color and large, but they match his greyish skin. The guard wasn’t sure if he was naturally grey or if it was the lack of light.

His blackish-brown beard was overgrown, needing more than a simple shave to get rid of it all.

His cloak was tattered and stained at the edges, but the exact colors they were - were unknown. The guards couldn’t tell if it was dirt or blood.

The second guard received an order, taking a step back and turning around to face the gate. He opened the fence door and beckoned Aaron in.

Aaron walked past them with his muscles tensed up. His body expected a fight while his mind wanted to leave his old life.

He ventured inside the compound, heading towards an open door, the light bursting out. Aaron carefully inched towards the open door, seeing it as a trap, his hand hovering on his katana. He hesitated to brandish it, taking another step forward.

Somebody appeared in the doorframe, staring at him. “It’s… It’s really you.” Aaron’s jaw fell to the ground. In front of him was an old friend, Ty Kooris.

Ty beckoned him inside and Aaron took him on his offer. He led him to a small table inside the hanger. In front of Aaron was a large airplane with reddish wings and white insides. The cockpits were at the front of the plane, hiding just under the top wings. It was a small commercial plane turned into a private aircraft.

Aaron faced Ty. His childhood friend had matured. He was well-kempt, his red tracksuit having a few wrinkles here and there.  His black hair was smoothed to his left, a few strands out of place. Ty’s beard was shaven; slight stubble. His face was round-shaped and his baby fat was gone. His dark brown eyes were staring at Aaron with curiosity and warmth. His nose pointed up and his lips stagnated.

“It’s been years, where have you been?” Ty asked.

“... Gone. Mentally and physically,”  Aaron muttered, sitting down at the table. Ty sat down across from him. “I was kidnapped and taken to a… You know slaughterhouses?”

Ty nodded. His eyes were wide; horrified. “Yeah, I do.”

Aaron stared deeply into Ty’s eyes. “I was imprisoned in a human one. People were tested on and used as experiments. Most of the missing posters that we saw five years ago - I saw them in the slaughterhouse.”

“How… How did you escape? And who did this to you?” Ty asked, startled by the thought that people were being kidnapped and used as experiments.

“A guy… my Mentor, who went by the codename of Warrior, freed me from the inhumane prison. With his help, many of us fled from the prison and escaped. I’m not sure if they all survived or where my Mentor went. I last saw him on the iceberg that the prison was stationed on.”

“He sacrificed his life for you?” Ty questioned.

Aaron shook his head. “My Mentor wasn’t a sacrificial person. He would never have thrown away his life to others. I think he’s still alive.”

“What does he look like? Maybe we could find him?”

“He looks six feet in height with mostly Asian features. He said he was from Japan. A burly man with black hair and eyes. He’s a giant in all regards.”

“Wow… he definitely sounds like a giant. I’ll see if I can find any information on him. However, before that, do you know who did this to you?” Ty asked, intertwining his fingers and placing them on the table. He stared intensely at Aaron.

“Asura.” He said after a long pause. “Asura Industries were the culprits. I’m getting my revenge soon.”

“Asura!” Ty exclaimed, jumping up from his chair. “They kidnapped you?”

“Tortured me as well.” He half-joked, half-told-the-truth.

“If you need my help in your revenge, tell me. They kidnapped my best friend from childhood and tortured him, making me believe he’s been dead for five years! They deserve death!”

Aaron smiled, standing up. He embraced Ty tightly. “Thank you, Ty, it’s been a… hard… hard five years.”

They released each other. “We’re partners-in-crime right?” Ty asked, reminding Aaron of a memory where the two engaged in several low-level crimes that never got them in enough trouble to face jail time.

Aaron smiled and nodded. “Always are.”

Episode Thirty Nine "The Hunter S1 E2 - Metahumans"

“What’s the progress? Has the rift been completely formed?” Stephen Orville asked. He had on a white blazer that was buttoned halfway and exposed the black tee under it. On his left breast was the logo of his company, three lines pointing at each other in a triangle shape; the lines didn’t connect, a few centimeters in space between them. A metallic gold ‘A’ rests in the middle of the broken triangle.

“The rift is nearing completion, a few minutes until the line separating the universes will be connected.” A male scientist declared. He pointed at the middle of the room. Scientists in lab coats and goggles observed from the ground floor and the reinforced balcony overlooking the rift. The bluish rift was contained in the middle of the room, inside a vertical white capsule. A glass encased the entirety of the rift, only opening as the rift neared completion.

The rift sparked from cyan-colored to deep-sea blue. The rift opened to full length, eight feet in height and five feet in width, being contained by the white walls that formed from the capsule, dubbed the Containment Walls, that acted to keep the rift from spewing out of its boundaries.

“Everybody retreat behind the marked lines for your own safety. Anybody crossing the line can be subjected to radiation!” The male scientist shouted, extending his hand in front of Orville, barring him from entering.

“Drop your hand, Barry.” Orville coldly spoke. Barry dropped his arm, backing away as Orville closed the distance between the rift and himself. He touched the Containment Walls and hovered his hand over the rift’s bluish flame. It licked at him.

It memorized Orville, nearly pressing his face against the rift. However, his common sense kicked in and he backed away from the portal. “Send Prisoner #7685 in!” He barked.

Two scientists on the balcony turned around and grabbed a man handcuffed to an inner piece of the railing. They took him to the ground floor and handed the
