demonic flame into the ground. The demonic flame crawled underground, reaching Angry Husband and encasing him in it. Nobody knew it was Troy who killed Angry Husband and put an end to the event.

He was frightened by the powers. No humans had access to demonic powers, yet he had it. He stared long and carefully at himself, concluding in one long drawn-out breath. “I am a demon!”

Episode Twelve "Bonded Weapons"

The following morning saw the next class day arrive, the first since the tournament expelled three people. Reports following the students expelled have told of Cindy being locked up in her home, Logan being softly punished for his loss, and Conner committing suicide. His body was found hanging in an abandoned warehouse, disgraced by ants and other small critters.

The first ten minutes of class was spent to respect Conner’s death. He wasn’t loved by many (or really any), but it was tradition to mourn those that you used to know, even if you liked or disliked them.

Virginia excused herself, running off. Mr. Inuzuka didn’t doubt her intentions; it was the loss he suffered by Virginia’s hands that led to him committing suicide.

After Virginia left, Mr. Inzukua began class. He led them out of the classroom and to the basement where they met with the university’s armory. The armory was provided by the government to build a platoon of knights for the future. Everything needed for their success was provided.

In the armory were buckets, barrels, and display stands of numerous weapons ranging from throwing stars to swords to bows and everything in between. It was a paradise.

“Before I let you go inside, the weapons aren’t normal. You can’t go and pick whatever one you fancy. These weapons bond with you mentally, so you can’t choose them freely. The weapon will choose you.” He told them.

“What would happen if we reject the weapon?” Addison asked.

“Yeah, can we reject the weapon?” Michel added.

“Impossible, once you develop a bond with a weapon, tearing you apart won’t work. If the weapon is broken, it’s the same as your arm being broken in half. Oh, and you will feel the weapon’s pain, so… good luck.” He let them sift through the armory’s buttload of weapons.

Casper was the first to discover his weapon. His mental state wasn’t stable, yet he could create a bond with a weapon before anybody else. His bonded weapon was a spiked chain with the name of Spineripper. The chain slithered out of a barrel and wrapped around Casper. He gripped the chain and tore it off his body. The chain reacted by floating in the air, surrounding him. The bonding process was over.

The next to bond was Victoria, being bonded with a rapier named Cometcutter. The silver rapier glittered as soon as she touched it, almost like it was activated by a single touch.

After Victoria, came Kelly and Amanda’s bonding process. Amanda got the wand named Sage, made out of darkwood, while Kelly got paired with a katana with the glory-filled name of Divinetrinity.

With a third of the class with weapons, the others scrambled to search for their weapons, Xavier was paired with a towered shield named Ragnarok, a weird pairing for the mysterious and stealthy Xavier. He didn’t seem the type to use a shield or anything that slowed him down.

Marie was paired with the Skyfall staff, made out of darkwood with a silver metal appearance due to the mixture of materials. Skyfall was made from darkwood and a rare ore. She stared at the staff, a mixed feeling being emitted into the weapon. She half despised it, but also saw it as her saving grace.

Henry bonded with the Omegasabers nunchucks, a good pair based on his jerky attitude. He seemed happy with the pairing, flinging the nunchucks around without training. The nunchucks bounced around and cracked against his face, grinding a scar.

Meanwhile, Michael and Addison got their weapons effortlessly; Addison getting the battle-ax named Blackfire. The weapon made sense for her loud personality. Michael, on the other hand, was bonded with a two-bladed sword known as the Lifebender.

Ashlee was matched with the Chaos Spear. A strange pick for the shy girl.

Oscar got the Deathraze polearm, a weird weapon for the one-dimensional jock.

Virginia, who arrived later than the others, was bonded with the Redmoon long spear, a metallic spear with the shade of maroon-red. She held the spear in front of her, staring at it. She hesitated to take it away from the armory. Conner’s death had stopped her in her tracks. She now felt that she didn’t deserve the weapon. She threw it back in the barrel. She turned away but Jane’s voice pierced her. Jane told her to grab the weapon and wield it proudly. She hesitated to return for the weapon as Victoria rested a hand on her shoulder. Victoria slightly nodded, giving Virginia enough confidence to grab the weapon and brandish it proudly. She took the weapon out of the armory.

Troy was the last person in the armory, searching for a  connection with any of the weapons. None of them clicked with him, leaving him alone, surrounded by locked weapons. He continued to search until Mr. Inuzuka gave up on him. He led everybody except for Virginia, Amanda, and Kelly, to the training area to test their strength.

“It’s fine, Troy. Don’t panic or belittle yourself. Calm yourself and do your best to sense your weapon.”  Virginia told him.

“Maybe none of these weapons work with you. How about we ask the government for another shipment.” Amanda suggested.

Kelly watched silently, searching for an answer to his dilemma. However, she couldn’t come up with one.

Troy closed his eyes and took a step forward wherever his instincts told him to go. His instincts were throwing him towards two swords locked up behind a glass display. The swords were crimson-red on the teeth while the rest of the blade was the color of faded gold. They seemed remarkable but considerably aged. The hilts were darkwood, but they were heavily damaged; chips and scratches etched into them.

However as he neared the swords, a sudden shock forced his eyes to open. He took a step backward. The sword rejected him, discarding him like trash.

That was the final straw in the depressing few days he had. He turned around and raced out of the armory. Virginia, Amanda, and Kelly chased after him.

“Troy! Troy!” The three women shouted as they chased after him.

Troy ignored them, racing slightly faster than all of them. He then reached the classroom, sitting in his seat. The girls surrounded him and tried to talk to him but he ignored everything. He was mentally gone within a second.

Episode Thirteen "Black Sleep"

The last day of the week---being Friday--had arrived. Throughout the last four days of school, they had been training. Everybody except for Troy had gotten their weapons on Monday, and began training themselves to use them. People began mock duels because of the smallest of things to do combat training with things on the lines. Be it that the “things on the line” were often small items of little interest.

While everybody trained, Troy had ventured back to the armory three more times to no avail. Every time he was rejected by the swords. They didn’t treat him as worthy of them.

He sluggishly made his way back to the classroom. As he grabbed a hold of the doorknob, he felt something behind him. He spun on his heels and threw a weak punch. The punch connected, but its weak foundation gave the person no damage. Standing in front of him was Reid. Troy glanced around, unsure of how Reid appeared behind him.

“Oh, I didn’t expect to see you here. And you must be here for BU’s knight class right? That’s amazing!” He patted Troy’s shoulder. “You ran off before I could ask you, and if you don’t mind, can you tell me what knight class you chose?”

Troy pondered, thinking to himself. “I do-don’t know.”

“That’s okay. That’s why you’re in this class, right? You want to figure that out.”

“No,” Troy muttered. “I didn’t come here to become a knight.” Troy closed his mouth. He didn’t understand why he was spilling everything to a complete stranger.

Reid grabbed Troy’s face and made eye contact. His eyes turned crimson-red. The change was quick, happening within a single eye blink.

“You can tell me everything. It would stain my heart if you died without telling your story.” Reid remarked, showing off a toothy smile. A sword emerged from within him, slithering its way into his open hand.

Troy heard the windows crack open and multiple screams coming from inside. He heard Victoria scream for Casper followed by multiple grunts and explosions. They were being tortured.

“What’s going on?”

“Oh, wouldn’t you like to know, black sheep? Hmm, what shall I do to you? Maybe giving you another breakdown would be nice.”

Troy’s eyes widened. Reid laughed like a crazy person. “That’s the reaction I expected. Come on, you had to sense something was off when you got that breakdown at Landgate. Or while I was ranting, I spilled a few weird words into it. Yet you weren’t being a good friend and listening to me, instead. zoning me out.” He ranted. Reid grabbed Troy’s shoulder and shook him a bit.

“Y-Y-You,” Troy stammered.

“I what? Set off two demon lords and managed to expose the arrogant and disgusting Zane, getting him kicked out of the Angel Riders. What did people start calling the second demon lord… atrocious, violent… no, it was Angry Husband wasn’t it. What a cooky pet name people had come up with.” He spat on the ground. His joking tone disappeared, leaving seriousness behind. He raised the sword and slashed downward.

Troy collapsed and dashed to his left, escaping Reid’s grip and attack. Reid’s sword dented the ground. He looked up and smirked. “What a smart black sheep,”

The screams, shouts, and grunts had begun to calm down. Troy glanced at the door. Reid noticed the glance and howled in laughter. “What will a weak and frail boy, without a weapon, do to help? You would only be slain by my mentor like a piece of butter.”

“Mentor?” Troy repeated.

“Yeah, the dark and ‘evil’ sage Merlin has emerged.” He picked the sword up and launched it at Troy. Troy dodged the attack and ran away from the classroom. Reid hurled in laughter as he watched Troy flee with his tail in between his legs.

He then went to the door and entered the room, helping out his mentor against the still-standing survivors. Merlin’s surprise attack wounded the
