Episode Twenty Three "The Last Vampire S1 E1 - Orphans"

Vampires were deemed as a dangerous species by the Holy Church after a long and casualty-ridden war with the demons. The demons had paired with vampires, ghouls, goblins, orcs, and every other creation of darkness against the humans, elves, and beastkins. The war saw the humans and their allies winning the centuries-long war and basking in the rewards---thousands of slaves, land, and natural resources.

The fleeing demon allies hid throughout the world with vampires being the most dangerous, declared by the humans. They saw vampires, which held incredible speed and strength, as the biggest threat to their future.

The humans and their allies created the profession of Vampire Hunters who executed every vampire they could find, no matter the gender, race, or age. They were vampires' number one threat. Normal humans were no match to an average vampire, but Vampire Hunters had tripled the strength and speed. They were formidable foes.

A red-headed young girl with pale skin and a fragile body, a signature look of a vampire, had her identity exposed by three orphans. They discovered her in the alleyway, softly crying to herself; her hat, which hid her hair, was blown off by the wind.

The orphans attempted to console the girl, but after her red-hair and fangs were exposed, they began beating her. They began swearing at her, calling her an abomination, a vimp--- slang for a vampire, and a monster. They trampled on her; two male orphans and a female.

They kicked at her face, stomach, and legs, leaving bruises on her. They continued to kick at her, soon breaking her skin and spilling blood. The wounds began enlarging.

“Stop!” The girl shrieked. “Stop! Help!”

“Ain’t nobody helping you, vimp!” Shouted the oldest orphan.

“Yeah, vimp!” Shouted the female orphan.

“Die! Vimp!” Shouted the last orphan, the youngest of the three.

Their kicks tore apart an old wound, spewing blood onto the dirt-infused concrete. The girl’s yelps of pain were ignored by passersby, who had no intention of involving themself with vampires.

“Hey! Leave her alone!” Another orphan shouted, appearing from behind the three. He grabbed one of the orphans and threw him to the side. The other two made a break, leaving their friend behind. The third orphan got up and scrambled away, leaving the fourth orphan with the vampire girl. The girl was bloodied and knocked unconscious by the multiple strikes to her head. The orphan checked her pulse, checking to ensure if she was alive.

“What have they done to you? They nearly killed you.” He picked the girl up and carried her towards the orphanage where he was living. Once there, he left the girl to the orphanage’s doctors. The doctors noticed the red hair and fangs but chose to ignore them. They had no grudges against vampires, seeing them as misunderstood beings. They were apart of the majority that had no hatred against vampires, being the best option for working in an orphanage of mixed races.

They worked quickly and efficiently, closing the girls’ wounds. After doing so, they delivered her to a room to observe her condition. Her faint heartbeat began to stabilize. The bruises settled down and color flushed into her. She was slowly being revived from near-death.

The orphan, Tasu, watched from afar as she recovered. The doctors asked him a few questions, getting vague answers. They stopped after five questions, choosing to focus on their next patient instead of pulling answers from Tasu.

Now, the girl was healing in the room with her savior nearby. She wasn’t dying a dog’s death. She was back on the land of the living.

Episode Twenty Four "Failed Summoner And Her Weak Summon S1 E4 - Uncaged Beasts"

Chase returned to Ashanti’s house, brimming with excitement. He had inspected the flyers for the event, filling his mind with the idea of him winning the tournament.

He approached her house, opening the door and slipping inside. Ashanti waited for him in the living room, glancing up at him as he entered. He went up to her, showing an Uncaged Beasts flyer. She grabbed the flyer and skimmed through it, staring at him. “Where did you hear about this event from? Villagers or my bro-” She stopped herself before she mentioned Lucas.

Chase began sweating. He wasn’t good at lying. “U-Uh… it was some gossip I-I heard from some villagers.”

Ashanti could sense he was lying, but she discarded it. She stood up and beckoned for him to follow her out of the house. He followed her outside. She then pointed at a nearby graveyard, filled with dead summoners. “Some of those graves belong to people participating in Uncaged Beasts. Sometimes the summoner can’t keep control of their summons or your competitor allows their summons to attack you.”

“Doesn’t it say that only beasts are allowed?” Chase asked, puzzled. “Also, why do you call them summons? Doesn’t everybody call them beasts?”

“Summons in the proper name for your kind, but many refer to their animal summons as beasts. Also, Uncaged Summons doesn’t sound as cool as Uncaged Beasts does.” She then turned away from the graves. “As for your first question, it’s a new rule implemented last year. To prevent a large number of deaths, the organizers allowed only the summon to enter the battlefield. The summoners are brought high into the air on stone pedestals. The stone used to make the pedestals are summon-proof.

“Woah, let’s go check it out then.” Chase insisted.

“Did you hear anything I said? Uncaged Beasts is a dangerous event and you shouldn’t-” Ashanti stopped herself as she saw Chase run off towards the event’s sign-up table. She shook her head and let out a big sigh before following him.

At the table, their path was impeded by the appearance of the three musketeers; Velma, Mikael, and Alexia. “Oh, the Failed Summoner has popped her head in society so soon?” She glanced over her shoulder at the sign-up table for Uncaged Beasts. She burst out in laughter upon realization. “Are you mentally ill? Are you trying to flaunt a weak beast like him?” She pointed at Chase.

“If you want, we could take him off your hands. I wouldn’t mind owning a pet.” Mikael remarked.

“I would like that, but I want to break him. Raise his spirits before viciously crushing them.” Alexia said, frightening Velma and Mikael for a split second.

“What do you all want?” Ashanti asked.

“You know what girls, let's sign up and personally squash her poor beast,” Velma suggested. Mikael and Alexia both nodded, following Velma to the table. There they signed themselves up for the event, leaving while bashing on Ashanti. They roared in laughter; Their laughter spread to passersby.

“Ignore them, it’s better if trash takes themselves out. I’ll destroy them in the competition.” Chase, confidently, said.

Ashanti shook her head. “Forget about the event, let’s go back. I don’t care about this event.”

It was now Chase’s turn to shake his head. “I want to be stronger, strong enough to protect you. That and if I win, I’ll... I’ll be able to disperse those rumors about you.”

Ashanti blushed, looking away from Chase. She shook her head again before walking up to the table and signing them up. She turned to face Chase, her face flushed with color, and whispered “I can’t wait to see what you do.”

“I will win in your honor,” Chase remarked.

Ashanti shook her head again, extending her hand out. “In our honor.” Chase shook her hand as the sun descended, illuminating the pair. They were on a path of victory.

Episode Twenty Five "Survival Instincts S1 E6 - Half"

We laid on the rooftop, waiting for the horde to disperse but they wouldn’t budge. Instead, we were trapped on the rooftop, yearning for an escape. For the time being, we slept, if you could call it that, for most of the night and woke up early. Nearly all of us got a few winks of sleep, at the most.

I looked over the edge and noticed that the horde was diminishing at a slow rate. However, the diminishing horde was scattering around, some slowly climbing onto the roof. I called out the horde’s actions; Luna jumped into action again. She ordered everybody off the roof and to escape. The only escape route was to jump off the roof, hopefully landing on the grass below.

Everybody scrambled to pack their gear, preparing to jump off the roof. I followed their steps, lingering on the edge. I mentally prepared myself to jump when I heard a loud shout. I glanced over my shoulder as the heavy-sleeper Parker was still sleeping. The dead had already climbed to the roof, reaching Parker within a few moments. He was asleep as they tore through him. He, thankfully, never had to witness his death at the hands of the undead. A blissful death.

I jumped off the roof, landing on the grass below with a heavy thud. However, I quickly got to my feet and began sprinting away from the building and the following horde. I glanced to my sides and noticed my comrades following me.

“Cruz!” I heard somebody should. Behind me, Will Cruz was struggling to keep up with the others. He was the slowest of the group, something made apparent by the distance between him and the rest of the team. I looked away from Will, shielding my ears with my hands before the sounds of tearing flesh and blood-curdling screams could penetrate them.

We didn’t slow our pace, instead, fleeing to the outskirts of the town. Once on the outskirts and with a large gap between the horde and us, we slowed down. Luna gave us a short break to regain our stamina while she contacted HQ and pry more intel out of them.

Our group dwindled to five, cutting it in nearly half. We were the only survivors. Death lingered on us as the horde slowly limped towards us. It followed us out of the town and hovered over our shoulders, waiting for the time to
