Chapter 1: How I chose the product

I chose that my product will be completely related to water problems. I wanted to find ways in which I could save water and reuse water. To come up with a solution to my goal, I made a mind map which gives information on the possible outcomes of the product. Provided below is the Mind Map of the possible outcomes.

I chose to reuse the water from the Ro filters and investigate how much water usage is being reduced in the house for an entire month.

Materials required for the product

Chapter 2: the materials that were required for the product.

I thought that since my house is big, it is better to make a working model as the product so that after finalizing and becoming an expert in all parts of the product, I can try implementing the solution.

In order to create a working model, listed down below is the list of materials that are required to achieve the goal and finish the product.

Large tray Dustbin Transparent pipe of 6mm Long thread Miniature bucket Miniature car Miniature garden Board pins Thermocol cutter Double-sided tape Scissors Safety pins Plyer Procedure followed to make the product

Chapter 3: Procedure to create the product

Use the double-sided tape to stick the dustbin, car, bucket and the garden onto the tray. Drill 3 holes in the dustbin as close to the other objects The holes that are being drilled has to be the same size as the pipe in order to get the perfect fit into the dustbin. To the closest distance use the board pins and pierce the tray (the needle of the pin should be outside of the tray) Cut the pipe and insert one side into the dustbin and the other onto the object (the length depends on the other object and the distance between the objects) Use unwanted plastic and cut three squares and pierce a hole at the top of the square. Use the plyer and cut the safety pin and tie it using the thread. Insert into the plastic square. Now wind the thread on top of the board pin and release the plastic square at the length which would cover the hole from the inside of the dustbin. Pictures of the product

Impact of the solution

Chapter 6: how the solution affected the water consumption

As per my calculations the water from the RO filter gives out a minimum of 18 liters of water and in a month it can save a minimum of 35% of your expenditure on the water most of the household work is been completed by using this water.
