The Tale Of Pygmy Joe

The setting was london, 1753..,

Cold and very cloudy in temperature..,
In the distance, a lonely beggar was in search for bread,

The fog outside was found thick yet slightly visible..,

Then it turned very bad..,
Yet we set our course ahead with the hope of survival..,

Would have loved just to get a little bit of sleep..,
Finally a young widow had offered to take us in for the night,

Her name was Thelma B. Harris,
Married to the gentleman who owned the famed Scotland Steel..,

At that particular time her assets were dwindling down in size,

Yet in her heart she had opened up in which to accomadate two lonely soul's..,

That room was very cold yet as I sat up at night..,

I had decided to write down in my journal, "The Tale Of Pygmy Joe".,

Starting from a pair of mounted woodsmen..,
Setting out in order to trap the fox !

Yet the monastery where Father Dower resided was nestled right near their trap ?

Next it goes on to tell of three Pygmy tribe member's brought to their land as slaves,

To be an overseer, to take care of the area..,

Throughout that tough winter the slaves endured much hardship !

Right as the hunters had made their way out of the barren land..,

Still one lonely Pigmy slave boy still managed to get loose..,

Right out of his chain's !

Then came that knock that was heard right at Friar Dowers' door !

Upon opening the door, he was met with two piercing eyes !

Then a dog began to bark !
Please pray tell me why you are here ?
(Friar Muttered)..,

Still no answer,

Again, can I fix you up a little bit of crumb cake ?

Perhaps a sip of port ?
Nothing, still complete silence..,
Then instead of rage, the Pygmy Joe let out a huge smile !

For all his life he went in search of love,
Yet no one would ever seek to comfort him ?
All he ever longed for was a bit of caring, affection and love..,

A little bit of T.L.C..,

However, soon the authoritie got word of the likes of Pygmy Joe ?

How he had ventured into his escaping..,
Yet the search was on and a man hunt was instituted,
The two pair of hunters had called off the chase..,
Rather than to pursue a hunt for one of Pygmy Joe !

Meanwhile back at the monastery..,

Friar Harria began his quest to keep this man a secret..,

Many books were filled on his wall...

Some of them were filled with cobwebs..,
While others were simply never read at all,
As young Joe looked he was simply amazed !
Then he noticed a tiny little door..,

That is where the rubbish was removed,

He just wanted to walk in their because that was about his size..,

Next a large door was heard outside at the front door,
A front line policeman was sent out to investigate the matter..,

This had been commisioned by the queen !

In order to form the man hunt for Pygmy Joe !

Yet it was customary for the authorities to never approach the monastery for any particular reason...,

They were always isolated from the outside world,
However, in this situation a search inssued..,

Yet one can't tell the queen no !

The search had consisted of checking all the friars belongs, books and spaces..,

What happened was Young Pygmy Joe hid in the doorway under that rubbish..,

For more then six hours for searching the immediate area..,

At last the policeman left without finding anything,

Then reporting back to the queen that they had all came up short..,

Years had passed then Pygmy Joe grew !

A whole two inches that was..,

The elders grew Pygmy Joe in becoming a descent friar,
Teaching him art, religion and ethics,
He had been groomed to serve other's..,
Although hiding from the outside world he developed an amazing story !

(As a younger Pygmy he went out one morning..,
Looked down to notice a great big hole !
Inside the whole lived very tiny prehistoric people,
Smaller than his home tribe of pygmy's..,

They had been commonly known as hobbit's..,
While looking he had noticed a bright flickering light !

This had been known as flier's or simply put little fairies,
He had discovered a land that no natural man had ever found..,

Blind from the outside world,
The creatures could not see ?
Some even had fangs for teeth !
Yet young Pygmy Joe would oft' go there to visit..,

Never saying a single word,
He just wanted to leave it all alone..,
Just like he was a secret to everybody ?

He later noted how beautiful it was to view fairies in flight !

The hobbits would oft' feed them some sort of potted stew,
Suddenly a large knock was heard !
Mrs. Harris had prepared lovely bisquits with their tea,

Quickly, I ate then continued with my journal..,
Yet the air was awful cold and a bit damp..,
Then a howl was heard..,
It only meant that nothing on that plate had been left..,

Now pray tell, I must get back to my story...
The Young Pygmy Joe crwaled right back into the hole,
Although he was awful meek,
He was never to be found to be weak,

Shortly he would venture to leave the world that he knew,

Yet he would oft' play with their golden magical wand..,
As he had pointed down to the sod,
Just then a little fairy blew through the air !

There hopped out a very lonely frog,
This would be without no hidden sense or even care..,
That whole kingdom had met their end !
Only to take Young Pygmy Koe back as their slave,

With crown and wand to be sold,
Now with kingdom gone,
It would not be very long for the door of hope to become shut !

No longer a king but now a slave,
As he had finished his story the friars all had wept...

They were all very grieved in their hearts,

Yet saddened but still much appreciated and inspired to go on !

Even though Pygmy Joe had been struggling for so very long !

Yet in their heart of hearts he is still their king !

Now that he had found new love he had created a nice rhyme :

"King Pygmy Joe"

I was out walking throughout that dense land,

To oft' tred upon the humble sod,

With no kind word in life to ever be spoken,

Yet you had accepted me with humble child like faith,

Deep within the vast Autumn leaves,

There I had found a hole where no man bleeds,

Beneath the frail Earth doth trod,

Oft' to come across a world of glee !

Next came that little throne,

You had placed a crown,

Yet I knew right ther that you wanted me to be around,

Betwixt heaven's door and a world at play,

The thimble weeds with dew doth spray,

To only lay my head upon a pillow in which to pray,

The one gun shot blast !

Alas ! Sent all to myself,

With Hell doth bent,

A hopeless case,

Twas that until I came across a mighty clearing,

To meet a happy friar,

With that great hope !

No one will ever be able to call him a liar,

(The friars prayed,
Let all our heart's reflect,

Upon a boy we once took in,

In a time of great need,

While others hoped,

He would have lost his way,

Yet to make his heart doth bleed,

Still we knew all the great while,

The Good Lord hath sent,

Young Pygmy Joe down for all of us to see !

How everyone long's for love,

Only a few take the time to offer to help !
Now every time I see Mrs. Thelma B. Harris,
I think of her for her warm accomadations,

That night I thank her for her inspirations' that she offered to give me,

Always, to sign my name:

With Love,

Friar Joe

* The dear friar knew that he had a home,
Yet at various times he was alone.,
sometimes, briefly as a drifter wandering aimlessly throughout the country side..,
Events and places of known interest often would fascinate the young friar,

As he grows much older in life,
His thought's reflect on his past as a young pygmy,
There were many curteous things inside his head.,
Thought's of granduer one minute than he became very reflective.,

*Yet Pygmy Joe stood the test of time,
By not giving into all the lies that society puts forth,
Somehow he knew he had an ultimate purpose.,
A destiny that reached out to a lost and dying world in search of truth.,
There are many stories that he had ventured to tell,

Still he had persisted in being a follower of Jesus Christ in the midst of a dying world.,
As he embarked on the tale end of his life,
When the curtain had clsoed for the final time.,
He had known in his heart of hearts that he had truly made a significant impact in people's lives !

*Through the leaves;
Lieth torn amuck...
A chalice fallen on the ground..,

Within the vast hils one needeth to gaze;
Caught asunder the strict resilence among the debris;

( Although Joe had been scorned;
The lonely wandering wizard...
A wand that was fashioned to show much power !
Lurking in the dungeon)

* A master's...
A soaring anger burns !
A dire memory in our hearts...
White lightning was used by Joe for those who are willing to prevail;
Through both tooth and nail the hammer fell !

( The king's quest may be a bit loathsome...
Yet we oft' wander to loosen the chains of our meager existence ? )

*In life the enemy cometh in like a flaming roaring lightning !
Waiting to devour it's helpless prey !
( Such as the fearless martyr who stopped the coliseum massacre's,
Pygmy Joe knew,
That he was on mission far from the present danger.,

(While many lied helpless to the fallen tormentor's;
He will be forever remembered and missed !

(For his contributions one has learned to :
Walk daily with The Lord,
Let me become slack and weary in fighting the current !
In weariness, one is always available..,
Example # Mother watching and waiting,

Just to rest for several days...,
Reading many times out of the Psalms..,
Refreshed, ready for the day !

( When she had nothing left;
She had everything replenished...)

* Example # For all of us to follow !

Pruning- The removal of all the weak parts,
To restore-
Unnecessary weakness while prunning..,

* Health, beauty and service...
Special trials- A special place,
The greater the pressure depending on him and his stregnth)

These are many of the temptations and obstacles
