Ivys P.O.V.

Every time I close my eyes I dream. It's the same every night since I moved here three months ago. I dream of others like me. Other Neko na Henkan, but I know that I'll never find another I am the last of our species. I am the heir to our blood but lost to all other people forever I am forced to cover my fur and paws to all other people because I am scared of them knowing as killing me just like my parents and grandparents before me. The dream continues and I am walking through freshly fallen snow to a tree in the middle of a brilliant lit clearing. When I reach the tree my parents and the enter tribe of Neko na Henkan walked out from behind it, I start to tear up as always, my parents run over and hug me half to death and then it melts. The tree blows away to dust and the snow devours my tribe. The earth starts to shake, the ground under my paws split to reveal a fiery hell. My parents try to jump over put just then out of the darkness a claw comes and snatches them away from me I jump to save them but then everything disappears and I start to fall.

I wake in a pool of sweat and tears my alarm ringing loud in my fragile ears shaking me fully awake. I go to shut off the alarm when I realize I am in my true form my head immediately tells me hide!! they cant see you like this! I turn back into a human hiding my tail with magic. Its the same as the day my parents died when I was all over the news, the number one rule of our tribe is to stay hidden but I was only 7 I didn't know better and when I went to court with the orphanage lady she came with me for the documents saying I was an orphan and the background checks on my new foster parents. I came that morning a human, my tail hidden but as the day went on more people and more cameras where shoved in my face causing me to grow scared when all of a sudden *poof* I had turned into a very small white cat and everyone watching the news saw, I had been found out but amongst all the chaos of my sudden transformation my magical instincts took over I sent a protective shield over everyone's eyes it took away all of there memories and some of the magical particles inside of them and what they saw was a 7-year-old girl frightened to death who feel to the ground and fainted, Next thing I know I am in a hospital bed my foster parents talking about there plans for my health with the doctors and nurses. I shake at the terrible memory as I put in my earbuds and go out for my morning run.

James P.O.V.

"James!!" she yells, I turn around this time to see her lacking in speed, I slow my pace just enough for her to catch up. It's a dream and I know it, it's the same dream for three months with the same girl in it every time. "James!!" she yells again this time when I turn to look she is frozen in time beautiful white paws stopped in mid-stride as I stare at her in her most beautiful state. The tears streaming down her face are clear as she looks up at me and says "sorry I am so sorry!" I see a flash of light and then I see her again still a cat. Before I know it I am a cat too! Walking towards her I caress her with my touch before she looks up at me with big blue watery eyes. She whispers in my ear "I always knew it we are mates and you are a Neko na Henkan." before I can respond the earth shakes and a terrifying cry sounds out from the earth as she splits right down the middle and the girl is dragged into a fiery pit of hell and then a black hand grasps me and tries to pull me in too. I break free only to start falling in again.

I wake up to see my mom looking down at me with a dreamy, glassy look in her eyes like she isn't here but I know she is. She has been known to space out, but she always can hear you. I slowly get up to shake her, I touch her and I see future events or her death! We're running shes behind me, I can hear her breath slowing, the soft sounds of her paws in the snow fading behind me. I turn to find her but she has melted into the raging blizzard. My heartrate speeds and adrenaline zooms through me 

 Hi, Thanks for reading the beginning of this book as I am now starting the second quarter of school everything is getting busier and busier I am sorry that I am only able to get this part down for now and I am going to try to update tomorrow and at least once a week at least. Please let me know how I am doing in a post on my account and thanks for reading again!
