these parts?” asked Pippin.
“We traveled all of the way from our side of Crickowillow just to talk to this party about the forest’s condition. Do you know anything?”
“All I know is that there’s been a few people goin’ over to your side of the forest out of Mostorocol that I don’t think have any excuse if ya ask me.” said Merry.
“Who?” asked Peter dumbfounded.
Talrock threw his ax down on the table in the center of the room where the party was having their meal. The table split in half and all of the dishes were destroyed. In the room there were the Purple rat and his rats, Seckrakon (ROAD TO ELDORADO), The White Witch, a small black Dark Forest resident with a red sweater and at the top of his head it point up and shape like a flag, and last of all the elf and his bodyguard. The elf gazed straight into Talrock’s eyes. He was tall and lean with a long brown coat that hung at his ankles and he had gloves that were cut off at his fingertips. His hair was dark and slick. His nose and his ears were sharp and his gaze was keen. Talrock advanced and lifted the bodyguard to the other side of the room with one huge paw. He was face to face with his enemy. “Why are you in my forest?” he asked in a low growl. The elf only smiled back.
“This isn’t your forest any longer. This is my allegiance and you will be thrown out of our forest. Our potions are too great for you and your forest.”

Talrock, enraged, made a move to silence the elf sorcerer, but found he was unable to do so. A cold dark feeling was invading his skin. It had tightened around him and he was having a hard time shaking it off. He had noticed a more obscure presence in the room and suddenly realized what was happening. A group of shadows had him wrapped up in their arms. Bulky, dark vapors of air that somehow were able to overpower him. The elf’s smile never left his face as he was fascinated with the great beast.

“Your strength is no match for my powers yet. . .I could use you in my army if you are willing to join our cause?” asked the elf quite innocently. The Purple rat rubbed his hands together evilly and let out a few nervous laughs.

“And wwwhhhaattt caauuseee is that?!” Talrock practically roared his question while struggling with the dark magic. The shadows were not growing tired.

“We are turning this boring room into a dark room. I’m sure you have heard of such a thing? Much more fun if you ask me. Evil powers in charge, toy slaves and such.”

“Everything we stand against as good toys no less!” shouted Talrock never breaking his stare with the sorcerer.

“I take that as a no then I presume?” mocked the elf nodding to his body guard who approached him carrying a heavy axe. The goblin roared and the last thing Talrock saw was the butt of the heavy weapon.

“Did you hear that? It sounded like Talrock’s roar.” Mr. Marsupial was on the front porch of the Benjamin Bunny’s cottage looking off through the trees.

“I fear the worst. Danger is very near to us in this very instant. We need get to get everyone to safety. There is no time to lose. No! We cannot wait for Peter and Thrainkain to return. We must act n-” Marsupial stopped short of his sentence. The tress had grown very still. There was no sound to be heard. An ominous darkness was slowly creeping over the glen. A squeal was heard inside the cottage as Pinewrinkle exited brandishing his staff, on his face a look of horror!

“Inside, every toy inside! This is black magic! It is spreading through the forest like a plague! Every toy inside!” Shadows crept out of the darkness one by one and began surrounding the beautiful cottage. These shadows were all armed with strange and dangerous weapons. Marsupial needed no further warning. He raced inside to his family as Mrs. Shrew and Porcupine began quickly closing and bolting the shudders.

The shadows did not give them much time. As one they charged toward the house full of peaceful wood toys. Pinewrinkle summoned his strength and blasted them back one by one with a powerful stunning spell. His valiant stand lasted only a few moments, before he was quickly overwhelmed and stripped of his magic staff. Suddenly a great white light erupted out of nowhere!
The light was so bright that even Pinewrinkle covered his eyes at the sight of it. But of course! That was the only way to fight against shadows! With light! The light destroyed the shadows and the terror was gone. The light seemed to vanish toward its center. No one in the house could see anything until their eyes readjusted. They saw nothing but the black wood. They looked hard and saw a white beard hanging from a face under a dark black hood. The hooded toy’s staff had a green gem in it that glowed. The character removed his hood and there before the woodland dwellers stood the Black wizard and behind him Senthara. “Moldexric!” cried Pinewrinkle rushing toward the wizard. The Black wizard was not an apparently friendly sort but deep down he held a place for the dwellers of the Dark Forest. He slightly nodded his head to Pinewrinkle and then turned and briskly moved through the forest.
“Senthara! How are you?” said the small dwarf to the Lego, both trying to keep up with the wizards while the council whispered amongst themselves.
“I’m fine how are you old friend?”
“Fairing. He sent me a message, how has he returned?”
“That message was sent from the evil council itself. It was a fake to get you to leave the forest and not cause any distraction toward their master plan.”
“Who’s master plan?”
“The council of the elf, he’s gone all over the Room collecting every potion from every Viking hermit to the simplest cottage in the plains. He is becoming powerful enough to take the Room with magic. If we don’t stop him his plan may carry out.”
“Where are we going?” asked Pinewrinkle.
“We are going to find them old friend and stop them before they disappear, this is why we’re moving at such a pace.”
They arrived at the crops and saw the red light coming from the mound and shadows flickering inside. Thinking that the company was still there they hurried in. The black wizard removed his hood and shined like a star. The wood around was enlightened and the room inside was blinded. He stopped the light and there were no shadows in the room. The company had escaped. Benjamin Bunny lay there, but where was Talrock?

“It’s never gonna float.”

“Nope.”

“Never.”

Not a bloody chance!”

“Looks like an ugly sausage.”

“It might actually be one. Hehehe.”

“It’s not going to float!!”

It was mid rainy season and the water around the room was being replenished by nature’s personal supply. It rained most every day, sometimes dreadful downpours, other times light showers. This particular day was quite stormy out. Many toys enjoyed the rainy season, because there were so many activities to do around the room. The few water animals and fish were constantly taking part in celebrations and fun filled days full of fresh water. But, there was a special significance with this specific day. Today was Tiny Battle Boat Day. Every year, the Tiny hole in the great tree would bring forth their best war boat they had been working on all season and enter them into a competition on the banks of the enchanted river which runs throughout the room. The entire hole had emptied out and were all standing in a massive assembly of raincoats and umbrellas. Hammy’s turn to face the brutality of the competition had come at last and he was preparing his boat for war. The others around him criticized and blatantly gave their opinions of his boat as was the custom for Battle Boat Day. The hefty hamster turned and scowled at the cruel crowd of Tinys. He reached into his work bag and pulled out a long Blork flavored ice cream bar. All of the bantering and laughing came to an immediate halt. The whole crowd stared in awe and sudden longing for the beautiful dessert. Hammy slowly unwrapped the bar and began to extend it toward the hungry toys. Before any of them had a chance to move, he retracted his hand and had swallowed the entire thing. Now his scowl had changed to a gigantic chocolate smile.

Talorash couldn’t help but smile himself. He had been watching them from afar. The great arctic wizard was very fond of stuffed animals and their simple way of life. He enjoyed watching their activities. It was a refreshing break from his usual stressful life. This particular toy was responsible for all things cold. He was preparing for orchestrating another long winter. He needed to meet with the Santa clauses and King Nutcrick to finalize some issues. But right now, he had to focus on even more important issues. The waters of the dark forest had been contaminated by black magic and Moldexric had asked him to dam up the waterways in and out of the forest to prevent the curse from spreading. He was using his strongest ice for this project.

The Tinys were in full action now. There must have been thirty small vessels in the water, all in full combat.

“Get him!!”

“Let go of my ship!”

“Sunk her! Hahaha!”

“Put her in the cradle. . .put her in the cradle. . .”

“PUT HER IN THE CRADLE!!!”

The wizard chuckled to himself and continued on his path. As he walked the roots and plants around him turned a soft white color demonstrating the power he had when it came to the cold. He continued walking underneath the beautiful black trees of the dark forest and entered onto another path. A great statue had been erected there. It appeared to be made of mud and dirt. Talorash looked closer at it and gasped. It was Talrock the mighty!

A flash of light gone as quick as it came from deeper in the woods. The wizard hastened to see what was happening. Many different colors of flashes and smoke and mists and voices were heard. He ducked behind a tree and saw that Pinewrinkle the Woodlander, Senthara the Blue, Moldexric the Black and Gandalf the White battled against the elf and his magic masters. The rat and his band seemed to be behind the brutal scene and shielded themselves from the lights and explosions and illusions. It was a nasty battle indeed. The elf had blown Pinewrinkle away with a blast of blue light. The Black wizard had finished off the small black Dark Forest resident and was battling the White Witch and Seckrakon together. The elf had held Gandalf immobilized with a spell and was now trying to defeat the small Lego. Seckrakon Blew an army of shadows toward the Playmobil wizard and the wizard destroyed them all with one blast of light but his two foes were not to be found. His wand was grasped tightly in his hand when a red mist settled over him. He blasted light many times but it did nothing. He was stricken many times by two invisible forces when he suddenly, using his mind, threw back one of them and blasted
