Chapter one: The new home

Today we left our home in Denver,Colorado for an old English chateau in San Diego,California .I ,Elizabeth Marie Allen, am truly bummed about the move. Who would want to leave a warm,beautiful,log cabin for an old,worn,English chateau?Here's the answer, My parents! It was several hours til we arrived at the new home,I walked in and took a deep breath, inside it smelled like vanilla, I walked up stairs and saw the most dashing bed! It had lace trim and a lovely curtain hanging off the top rail, for the first time today i was actually happy!That night, while i was sleeping, a bloodcurdling scream woke me up. I walked into the hall, for some odd reason I saw a door at the end of the hall "That wasn't there this morning" I thought."Come play with us" something said."W..w..whose there" I said in a trembling voice, "Your new best friends,c'mon,just open the door and let us out...". At that moment I woke up,I was covered in sweat and my eyes were beat red,"Weird, at least it was just a dream"

Chapter two: 1st day of school

I decided not to tell my parents,but I did call my BFF,Ashly .J. Simmons,She said that I had a weird dream last night because I just moved,I didn't understand it but I believed it,until I opened the door to the hall and saw it, the door. I screamed, "Whats wrong honey? are you hurt?" my mother said rushing in. I pointed down the hall,"what are you pointing at sweetie?" she said. "The door! can't you see it!?!" I exclaimed. My mother looked rather nervous "Oh yes now I see it,um.. go get dressed sweetie ok?" my mother said, I could tell that she was lying.After that I put on purple high-tops and my brand new neon green T-shirt with my Blue jean miniskirt that had been given to me as a moving present. I grabbed my B&W book bag and walked to school. I opened the glass door and saw the silvery-white hallways of Abraham Lincoln Middle School.A group of cheerleaders saw me and giggled,I went to the bathroom to see was it was about. "Oh-no!" I thought,"I was so anxious this morning I forgot to brush my hair!". I quickly grabbed my purse and pulled out a brush,soon my strait ember, blonde highlighted hair was beautiful again.I went to locker 326, my locker.Inside it were a pen,candy wrapper and a half-eaten cookie. "ewwwwwww!" I said.That day was especially boring,but I did make a friend,Alexandra .k. Huggins. When I got home I did not want to go inside. I sighed and realized I had to go in.

Chapter 3: Home Horrors

I slowly opened the door, my mom saw me and told me to clean my room.I walked upstairs.It was still there.The hallway and my room felt colder than it usually was. "Should I open it?" I thought,"Well..." that's when I came back to my senses,"No!am I crazy?!?!?Why would I even think about opening the door?!!?!?" I walked in my bedroom I saw a note on my bed,it was written on old paper and in an ink pen.It had 7 letters on,letters that made me scream at the top of my lungs:DEMONS

Chapter 4: 7 letter word

I kept screaming and screaming,Then my mom came in with a first aid kit and said,"Honey, whats wrong are you hurt!are you dizzy?,let me call a doctor!" I said "mom,MOM!" She stopped,I pointed at my bed.She looked confused,I looked at my bed,Nothing.Where was it?She walked away.That night I heard something,I covered my head with my pillow,"It was nothing." I thought.It kept saying it,"Demons,Demons" I felt something touch me"Its nothing,nothing!"It pulled me out of my bed.I turned around.Nothing.It kept pulling me.We were almost at the door,"NO!NO!NO!"I said,trying to escape the things grasp,It finally let go.It was morning.Another boring school day.I walked inside.Mom nor dad were home.I walked upstairs.I looked at the door,something was pounding on the door,trying to break it down.I called Alex.She arrived at my house.I thought Alex could help.You see Alex's one of those girls who believe in the supernatural stuff.I showed Alex the door.She didn't see anything.I was confused,was I the only one who could see it?Well that explains why no one can see it except for me.I explained to Alex what had happened to me since I've been here.She pulled a book out of her book bag.On the cover it said:Demons:a supernatural horror."Here it is"Alex said in her bubbly voice


Chapter 5: One call that's all

I stared at the book.How was a book going to help?I looked through it.It told how to get rid of demons.After Alex left my phone started to ring.I picked it up.The person on the other line said,"You think a silly little book will get rid of us?THINK AGAIN!"The man started laughing and hung up.I thought,"Us?"I gulped.There was more than 1 demon.I started to panic,but then I thought about the book.I was relived.That night I got a text.It said:Nothing will work.I was terrified.Nothing worked.It kept coming.The man kept calling me.I couldn't take it anymore.I called the operator.He said if it happens again to call.The man called and I called the operator.He told me that it was coming from a room in the house.I was even more terrified.I used to think it was a prank call,but no.This is reality.
