Description of Characters in this Book to Get a Visual (Physical Characteristics, Nicknames and Personalities)

Lizbeth Martinez (Daisuke)- She is the Protagonist in this story; she's 5"5, 13 years old (she's the youngest of her friends but almost the tallest), has black, wavy hair, and light brown eyes. Usually wears black athletic shirt or any color, black or gray jeans, black glasses, and dark gray Converse sneakers. Always with a smile, Christian, sometimes short and hot-tempered, patient, loves to make people nervous, procrastinator, secretive and weird. A Tomboy.

Stacy Castarela (Justicia or Alonso)- She is one of the many friends of Lizbeth and one of the two to discover her secrect; she's 5"3, black, poofy hair with light brown highlights on her forehead and dark brown eyes. Usually wears black jackets, leggings (even if it's not allowed in school! REBEL!), black flats or vans, white shirt and velvet glasses. Christian, addicted to cute boys, hyperactive, when sad or dissapointed is very quiet, loud, strange, timid, and sometimes, stupid. Extremely strict about homosexualism.

Nicole Yerena (Skinny Bones)- She is the second one to find out the secret; she's 5"4, dark brown hair, extremely skinny and light brown eyes. She has a crush on Lizbeth and Stacy (Yeah, homosexual), usually wears a gray jacket, blue jeans, athletic shoes, many necklaces and yellow and black glasses. Can't help but smile when she sees Lizbeth, procrastinator, shy, stupid, secretive, someone you can trust with secrets and loud. A Tomboy.

Yuma Candelario (Momiji)- She is the one who promots homosexualism between Lizbeth and Nicole; she's 5"3, has long, black hair with brown highlights, and has dark brown eyes. Usually wears moccacin shoes, black jacket, different color jeans and many bracelets. Annoying, stupid, peppy, comical, procrastinator, almost never sad, and a jokester. Likes to be called "he."

Traycey Lara (Teacey or Potato)- Challenged, and is the Antagonist in the story (she is a friend and not human as well but when she doesn't look like a human, she's the Antogonist, you'll see later in the series); she's 5"4, poofy, curly, light brown hair, and dark brown eyes. She usually wears aquamarine glasses, white and golden Adidas, green-blue jacket, blue jeans and light colored shirts. Annoying, stupid, acts like the smartone, sometimes lazy and always almost in a good mood.

Madre- Either Lizbeth's, Stacy's, or Nicloe's mother. Cannot describe.

Padre- Either Lizbeth's, Stacy's, or Nicloe's father. Cannot describe

 

A Long Journey Up and Downhill

 -Lizbeth's POV-

 

It was after lunch, time for the walk outside, even if it was pouring rain and freezing cold, well, not really to me, for me it was like HEAVEN, after being in a scorching hot cafeteria. I walked to Nicole and the others, just to be startled by the stupid "twins."

"I SHIP IT!" Yuma and Traycey yelled, startling Nicole and I.

"Shut up for once in YOUR LIFE!" I shouted back angrily

"Hey, Nicole! Maybe you should try to make your girlfriend calm down with a kiss!" Teacey said with sarcasim, but grinning. Nicole was silent to aviod fighting, but I wanted to punch Traycey like in 6th grade. We were tense in 6th grade, because we acted like we hated each other; a new day, a new bruise. Just then, Stacy's backpack went off the edge of the hill, into the forest.

"NO! Not... my backpack." Stacy spoke with sadness.

"It's not that far down, Alonso. We'll try to get it." The others didn't care about the backpack, they just walked away, without saying a thing. Only Nicole and I stayed to help, the teachers told us to hurry, but they left us alone.

"Los maestros de verdad no les importa lo que nos pasa." I said sincerly.

"Ya callate, the backpack is still close by, so let's try to get it before class starts!" Nicole said worried and she started to reach for the backpack, when a dead leaf made her foot slip, causing her to go downhill. Stacy tried to grab Nicole's leg, but slipped as well. I grabbed Stacy's leg, and Stacey had Nicole's leg and with my other hand.

 

-Omniscient POV-

 

Lizbeth grabbed the pine tree, but stabbed her hand into a sharp branch, ripping a hole into her hand with excrutiating pain for a few seconds, then "it" was let loose to help. All that Stacy and Nicole saw when they slipped down the hill was dark, amethyst eyes and black wings, then they fell into the dark unconsciousness.

About ten minutes later, Lizbeth looked at the time on her phone, 12:10. She looked at the sky as it poured down, then looked at Nicole and Stacy, 

That hurt, but they are in good condition, nothing bleeding, but I don't know if they sprained their legs because they fell on a brick! She thought. They started to move and gain consciousness.

"Ouch, Lizbeth?" Nicole and Stacy said at the same time, startled by the black cloak that she had on. She turned around, realizing that she revealed her secret.

"Lizbeth, your eyes are purple!" Nicole said, shocked

"Yeah, they are." She turned around, depressed and dissapointed

"Why?" Stacy asked, still flustered

"I am not human." 

"Then how did.."

"I'm half human, because I need to blend in to fight in the darkness and against the darkness."

"So, what is your other half?" Nicole blurted out, then covered her mouth in disgust.

"It's okay to have curiosity, Nicole, but didn't you see the wings?"

"Sorry, it was one of my stupid questions!" She said with fear, to herself, whispering

"It's okay!"

"You could hear that?!" She sputtered

"Of course! Let me confesse it, I am an Angel and no more questions." She spoke honestly, but seriously."Hey, we need to get to class though, we better hurry, I think we're late." Stacy got up with a little pain and Lizbeth were heading back to the classroom, but Nicole couldn't even get up. The pain in her two legs was excrutiating and it burned; Lizbeth turned around, seeing that she couldn't get up, tried to help, but Nicole was too stubborn.

"No! It's okay, I'll catch up!" She said blushing and turning bright red; Lizbeth blushed as well, but gained focus again.

"Get on my back, I'll carry you."

"You sure? I'm kinda heavy! Plus, what about your surgery? It might break open and you could bleed to death!" She said, frightened.

"Yeah, whatever. At least I would have saved someone's life." Nicole started blushing again, she got onto Lizbeth's back and grabbed on tight.

She did it again! She's makin' me red, I feel it! Nicole thought. She has a strong, loving character and she is physically strong as well! No wonder she always won fighting against Traycey!

"Lemme see, the nurse's office is like a mile away from here and Alonso, you think you can walk up the hill?" She pondered.

"Yeah, I can, but you two go first, I'll follow behind!" She said with confidence

"You sure?"

"Yep." Lizbeth climbed and Stacy followed, but she slipped on a dead leaf, making her fall backwards, screaming. Lizbeth turned around rapidly;

"STACY! HOLD ON NICOLE!" She spread her black wings and dived for her, while Nicole holded on for her dear life, because of the speed.

"Gotcha! Nicole, you okay?" Daisuke asked Nicole.

"Y-eah I am, only dizzy." She stumbled off her back, spinning and she plopped onto the dirt, trying to get rid of her nausea.

"Ugh, my foot hurts even more. Da.." 

"Don't say it, Justicia, it's bad to curse." Daisuke cut her off before she cursed."Plus, you sprained your leg even worse."

"Oh, yeah. How did I sprain it?"

"You banged your leg while falling, and twisted it while going up the hill. Now I will carry both of you."

"NO! I'm heavy! Plus, with SB hurt as well, that's too much weight for you! Approximately 200 LBS!"

"Well, I'll survive. Get on my back, Nicole. Oh, I'll have to give you my cloak, Nicole and my jacket to you, Stacy."

"No! It's 37 degrees out here! You'll freeze!"

"Stop worrying so much about me, I'll be fine; besides, for me, freezing is 10 degrees." She picked up Justicia, got Nicole on her back, and walked up the cement path towards the nurse's office.

The Explanation

SMASH!

Daisuke smashed the door open, panting and soggy wet. The rain had made Daisuke a dripping mess, making every single step wet with a drip-drip. As she walked into the office, the janitor came trailing behind her, angrily mopping the rain, mud and streaks of blood from the floor. The nurse, startled by the huffing and puffing of struggle, directed Lizbeth to the office before she could pass out in front of her.

"Oh my word! Are you three okay?"

"*HUFF* Maybe, if you could just *HUFF* show me *HUFF* somewhere to put them *HUFF* down!" Lizbeth struggled to puff out the words.

"Sorry, sweetheart!" The nurse put Stacy and Nicole on different beds, and Lizbeth, to a chair and offered her water when she realized that her hand was spilling out blood, on the brink of fainting. "Oh, I'll stop that bleeding first! What's your name, honey?"

"You don't have to be so polite, I'm Lizbeth "Daisuke" Martinez." She spoke, almost whispering, because of how little strength she had. The nurse wrapped gauze on her hand, then asked her,

"What is your grade, teacher and what happened that you came back with, um, what are your names, sorry!"

"My name is Stacy Castarela." She looked at Nicole.

"Mine is Nicole Yerena, "Skinny Bones." 

"We are in 8th grade, Nicole's teacher is Ms. Clark, Stacy's is Mrs. Dunson, and mine is Mrs. Capps." She said sincerly. "Maybe I cannot explain it better than we slipped down the hill in the back of the school, coming back from lunch."

"Oh, y'all's condition is too delicate, I make all of your teacher's send down your bookbags, homework and teachings." She turned and went into her office to call all of the teachers, Daisuke told them,

"What are your parents phone number's?"

"Why do you ask?" Nicole asked

"I'm going to take care of both of you for a couple of weeks until you recover."

"WHAT?!?" They both yelled, startled

"What's going on?" The nurse shouted back

"Oh, nothing, Miss!" Daisuke shouted back, flustered. The nurse settled down.

"Why?" Stacy reacted

"Because I want to. Write down your numbers" She ceased the questions. "Uh, Miss? May I speak to our parents?" She said afterwards to the nurse.

"I could, sweetheart, for you. But you can if ya want."

"Thank you, M'am." She got up wobbling to the phone in her office, and first dialed her mom's number.

"Hello?" Her mom responded, thinking it was a staff member of the school.
