To Begin...

Radiance's dream was horrid. The goblet of fire had chosen her for the Tri-Wizard Tournament against Hogwarts, Durmstrang, and Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. She never in her wildest dreams wanted to be chosen for that Tournament. No...
Not since her second-cousin Cedric Diggory had been brutally killed by Lord Voldemort... Using the 'Avada Kedavra' spell to kill him.
"Radiance Skai Aniwell for Sorcerin Wizard School!" Dumbledore announced with fire in his eyes. "A girl of sixteen... Peculiar, yes. I hear her relative was Cedric Diggory. That must frighten you... Am I correct?" Albus Dumbledore was not nice in her dream.
Radiance was stuck to her seat. Everyone's eyes were staring at her, seeming to penetrate her soul... Her worn light brown leather shoes tapped the ground because she was trembling so much.
"Go on now, Radi. I'll see you in the next life." Her little sister, Ginny Fae Aniwell winked and put her mask on... What was it? No! It couldn't be! She couldn't be a death-eater! No!!!
She woke up with a jolt. Her breathing was fast and unsteady.
"Radi? You have another one of those pesky nightmares again?" Ginny was standing with worried eyes in her doorway.
Radiance could only nod. Ginny came into her bedroom and the floor creaked. It was normal, considering this house was as old as Merlin himself probably.
"I'm sorry Radiance. I don't know if this will help much, but I'm here for you." Ginny, at the age of eleven standing before Radiance, sounded so protective over her older sister.
"Thank you Ginny Fae. I know your here." Radiance calmed down enough to talk to her sister.
"Ginny, Radiance, Mercy, Delphine, Ridley! Time for a spot of breakfast!" Their mother called from downstairs.
Ginny's eyes lit up. "Mother's made eggs and bacon! I asked her to." She smiled and ran out of Radi's room and down the creaky stairs.
Radiance smelled the yummy breakfast and quickly got out of bed to get her spot.
"Quickly now! You'll wish you'd have been down here sooner when your food is cold!" Molly (their mother) called again.
"I'm stealing your eggs, Maybell!" Misty announced with her mouth full.
That's right. There were a lot of Aniwell children. Ginny, Radiance, Mercy, Delphine (Del), Ridley (Riddle), Maybell, and Misty. All girls. Mercy was six. Del was twelve. Ridley was sixteen as well as Radiance. Misty was eighteen. And Maybell was nine. Of course they had two older brothers Fred and George, but they had moved out into their own house together. They were newly nineteen. They all missed them.
Their father was working fulltime at the Ministry Of Magic, and had his own cabin there to stay in for two weeks. Unfortunately he'd be staying there after his daughters got there magic school acceptance letters.
"No way! Misty, I'll take your crystal ball and throw it out your window if you even think on it!" Maybell threatened, laughing as she ran down the stairs.
Radiance sat at her normal spot. In between Ginny and Ridley.
"Good morning girls!" Their mother smiled proudly at all of them when they were all seated.
"Good morning mother!" Ginny said it first, loud and clear.
The rest of Radiance's siblings joined in and thanked her for making breakfast.
As they started eating, Mother sat down with them.
"I'm quite sorry your father will be at the Ministry when you leave to school..." Molly's tone softened. "He wishes with all his heart that he could be here with you all. I know that for sure."
Everyone but Ridley nodded. Ridley hadn't forgiven their father quite so easily. Radiance understood the Ministry needed full attention, so she forgave him.
Molly glanced at Ridley with sympathy. "Ridley darling, you do know how sorry he is, right?"
Ridley stood up and pounded the table with her fists. "No! But I do know how sorry he will be when he does get back, for missing out on his eleven year old's first year at school!" She threw her plate at the ground, shattering it. She ran out of the house, sobbing.
Radiance winced as the door slammed behind her. She had been talking about Ginny. She was eleven and it was her very first year going to magic school. They didn't even know which school she'd attend. It could be Sorcerin Wizard School, Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry, Durmstrang, Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, or muggle school. The family was pretty convinced she wouldn't attend a muggle school, considering she was a wizard.
Ginny stared absently at her plate, playing with her eggs with her fork. She felt guilty for making Ridley disrupt the family's breakfast.
Radiance looked over at their mother, who was looking more than a little shocked at how angry her daughter Ridley really was. Misty was shaking her head, disturbed by how vicious her sister got in front of the younger ones.
"I'll go check on her." Radiance stuffed the rest of her breakfast in her mouth, swigged a glass of orange juice, and headed outside after her sister.

Together

"Ridley?" Radiance walked around the house, calling for her. "Ridley!"
She was nowhere in sight. Then... Radi remembered. She knew where her sister would be at a time such as this.
Radiance ran into the trees. She ran and ran until she came to a sun-lit clearing that led out to a sparkling lake. Ridley was sitting at the edge of the water, staring out over its vastness.
"Ridley." Radiance went over to her and touched her shoulder.
Ridley flinched away and got up. "Leave me alone, Radiance. We all know how your mom's favorite and the only reason you came out here was to be the hero."
Radiance gasped. "Is that what you think?"
"It's what I know!" Ridley spun around and glared at her. "You musn't be serious when you say you have no idea."
Radiance's anger welled up inside her, but she tried hard to push it away. "I am not mother's favorite! She doesn't pick favorites out of her children, Ridley! Neither does father!"
Ridley got in Radiance's face. "Your right! Father doesn't choose favorites cause he doesn't like any of us to begin with!"
That was it. Radiance had enough with it. She pulled out her wand and pointed it at Ridley.
"Expelliarmus!" Ridley flew back and hit the ground. "Don't ever insult my father!"
Ridley was up in an instant. "Serpentsortia!" A serpent flew out of her wand and hissed at Radiance. Radiance staggered backwards, avoiding the large snake.
"Deletrius!" Radiance pointed at the serpent with her wand, making it disappear. "My own sister." Radiance shook her head and ran back to the house.
