When I looked into his deep, hazel eyes, I saw a lifetime of sadness. I didn't know why I agreed to meet James here. In a clearing in the West Texas desert, on the outskirts of Heartland, Texas. I shouldn't have come.
I thought. It was ten o'clock, we were supposed to meet him at nine-thirty. Sigh. I stood up from my place on the ground, wiped off the dirt from my black skinny jeans, and fixing my black t-shirt. I bent over to tie the lace of my old beat up converse that had holes forming in the sides. I began to walk back to where I parked my red and black sleek motorcycle. I loved my bike, with its thin, low to the ground structure; its dependable engine and the faint painted image of a demon's face on the engine. As I got closer to my bike, I heard something behind me, I turned around slowly, my hand at the blade in the waistband of my pants. My heart sped, as I realized that it was James walking from within the shadows. He himself looked like a shadow in black converse and straight-legged dark jeans, he also had on a black hoodie with the faded image of a skull on the front. I would NEVER admit it but, I had a HUGE crush on James Starr, with his lean, musculed body and his light brown hair that hid his amazingly brown and green hazel eyes. And when he brushed the hair from his eyes, they both melted and froze you; and it was like all the sadness and mystery that the earth hid, was all contained in his eyes. James was tall six feet and some-odd inches, with braod shoulders and a gorgeous face. A man's face with a five o'clock shadow and a sqaured jaw, but there was still a boyishness to it, hidden in his nose and lips. Those perfectly shaped, full lips thst hid two perfect rows of dazziling white teeth. I tried to hide the fact that my heart was trying to pound its way out of my chest and said,"'Bout time, I've been waiting forever." I kept my voice even, I've had plenty of practice at it, and James chuckled under his breath and continued to step towards me. "Well, I aplolgize. I had a previous engagment that ran later than I expected." James's voice was quiet and deep amd seductive, he looked at me with dark and hungry eyes. His voice was so quiet that I took a step closer to hear him, and that put us a few inches apart . "Anna, I know you've been watching me. And I've been watching you too," I was astonished that he knew that I sometimes watched him from a distance in our science class. "Y-you have?" I stupidly asked him. "Hmm-hmm I like what I see," He looked at me up and down in a way that made me feel like I was naked in front of him, and he smiled at me. "I like what I see very
much so." He flashed me a full, perfect smile; and leaned down as if he was going to kiss me, I wanted desperatly
for JAmes to press his lovly lips against hers, but to her disappiontment her simply whispered, "Follow me." I nooded and like an idiot, I followed him with a stupid look on my face. We walked together and I saw that we where coming up on another clearing. It was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen, like somthing out of a movie. There was a huge Wipping Willow, with its br
