Super short story

As the dust blew over the two girls walking; the dry wind making them even more parched.

“When are we going to get out of here Potato?” complained Bunny.

“We will get out of this dust hell when you stop complaining,” replied Potato.

“But I’m thirsty, hungry, hot, and there is sand in my mouth,” groaned Bunny.

“Shut up and keep walking,” grumbled Potato “Or I’m going to leave you as a present for the vultures!”

“Meanie,” mumbled Bunny.”

They walked on for hours under the beating red suns in a seemingly endless desert that seemed more and more like a grave yard to them.

“Are we there yet,” groaned Bunny, “I mean come on we have walked for days!”

“Bunny I want out of here just as much as you do, but it takes time to move across this dry land, so please just shut up,” pleaded Potato.

“P-potato I think you need to see this,” yelled Bunny in a panicked voice.

“What is it?” yelled Potato as she turned around.

“The wind is changing the desert; i-it’s insane,” said Bunny in a panicky voice.

“Start digging now,” screamed Potato as she dropped to the sandy ground.

“Why, what’s going to happen?” asked Bunny in a worried voice.

“A sand storm is coming,” yelled Potato as her red hair flew up, “and it’s going to be a big one, so start digging!”

Bunny flew down and started to help her sister dig as much as possible “What are we going to do Potato?” cried Bunny in a scared voice.

The dug a hole deep enough for two people to fit in “Jump in now,” screamed Potato her hair flying crazily making it seem as if she was on fire.

“But I’m scared,” screamed Bunny her blond hair whipping around in a frenzy.

“If you don’t jump in there I will give you something to be scared of,” screamed Potato.

Bunny jumped into the man hole soon followed by Potato.

“Hand me the tarp,” said Potato furiously.

“Here you go,” whimpered Bunny.

Potato looked at her with soft eyes then snatched the tarp and covered the opening just as the sand storm hit them.

“Thank you Bunny,” Potato said as she hugged her little sister, “you did very well; I’m sorry I yelled at you.”

“Its fine,” grumbled Bunny happily, “how long will this storm last?”

“It’s going to be a while; we have enough supplies to last us a day in here and the rest of the way to the city all I hope is that nothing bad will happen the rest of the way,” wavered Potato’s voice as she drifted off to sleep.

After two says the sisters find themselves closer to the Hidden city of Amara, but still look as if they are wondering around to others and as they get closer to the city the more danger will arise.

“Potato we are almost out of water this is the fifth time already,” groaned Bunny “I don’t want to die young!”

“If you keep complaining I am going to strangle you myself,” grumbled Potato angrily

The young sisters continued their journey never looking back or regretting their decisions and never once left each other’s side till they found Amara and the treasure lurking in its deep walls.
