Outside the army amassed itself. And charged into the castle. They killed all which they saw and all that were there. Walking back through the empty hallways the blood glowed in a special way from the light the moon gave. She was still asleep. Her breath came in a long slow rhythm. So slow like but so loud, like the tick of a clock.
Now what do we do with the time that we have left. I have seen the night that has brought any and all that which I desire come and now I don’t what to do. It has left me empty inside. A deep feeling in which I can not see any farther than what lies in my bed and on the floor. It has left me a feeling in which I have lost all I have. So I ask you “Do you know what I should do?
And you answer that I should come back. It is a long night, and it is not over yet. So I come back into the room and I lay my head down next to yours and you move so that it would be so much closer and I feel the fires of your love against the skin of my fear and as it burns away I am open again. The smoke flows away like it was never even there. And then we begin again.
