that. “Get up, oh get up right now!” Kia howled. I shot up out of bed in surprise I looked down and I was still in my ball gown. Why didn’t I change? I thought. “What now girl?” I asked her. “You need to tell me everything you did with Rook last night”. She ordered. “How do you keep getting over to superior land, and into my house?” I asked as I carefully got out of the dress. “I will answerer that after you answer mine.” She barked. I rolled my eyes. “He gave me a bracelet; we danced, laughed, kissed and then danced and went home.” I said quickly; hoping she would miss the kissing part. “You kissed!” she screamed. “Yes, yes now answer my question.” I ordered. “Ugh, okay, fine, your parent’s think its best you see me so I’m allowed all access” she told me. “Parent!” I shouted. Almost everyone knew I had no father. Actually no one even knew him it’s like he never existed, and I was conceived by nothing. “Oh, I’m sorry Marceline.” Kia said. I took a deep breath. “Its fine” I said drifting back to sleep. “How are you still asleep, it’s past the high sun?”She asked. Passed high sun how could that be? I thought. By the time Kia got me out of bed it was sun down and my mother recited me firm kitchen access. My empty stomach kept me from sleeping again. Wow I’m really stupid, I can just grow food. I said to myself. So that’s what I did. Fruits and vegetables are not my favorite foods but I was starving. “Your mother will notice the empty vines honey.” Mio smarted. “Whatever, she said no kitchen; I’m in my room.” I smarted back. “Whatever, honey don’t say I didn’t warn you.” Mio had a point I hated to disobey, not because of the fact I’m doing it to my mother but the consequences that follow. I ended up just sitting in my bed all night which made it hard for school the next day the day was passing slowly; my head rested on the desk at my potions class was dreaming of Rook who wasn’t in school that day. “Marceline!” the teacher shouted next to my ear. My reaction caused a chain of breaking glass. “Oops?” I squeaked. He just stared at me with cold dark eyes. I got a sickish feeling in my stomach. I knew with out even being asked to report to the hall of masters for my punishment. When I arrived I heard my mother talking I peeked into the crack of the door, there I saw my mother crying to our headmaster how ‘she’ is in danger. Who is this she? I wondered. My palms got sweaty as I carefully listened. “Come on talk louder” I whispered. None more than five seconds after I said that all my focus went on their lips; the sound got louder and louder. A sharp ring came to my ears. In surprise at the noise I jumped and fell in the hall on the floor. I looked nervously at them shaking in fear. Before I knew it I was being dragged down a dark hall by my mother. I was then thrown into a room. “This is for your own good.” my mother said. “What the hell are you doing?” I yelled at her. There I sat in a dark, cold, wet room. Finally my grand master and mother appeared in the only one foot by one foot window. I stood up and walked to meet them. “You’re going to Gaianova.” They told me.

Gaianova

There is no such place as Gaianova; there is only my land of Visora, but there I sat in a small oval-like container on my way to this mysterious land. “Mio!” I realized my partner was not with me. If protégés are away from their spirit partners then their magic is weakened. In a frantic panic I stood up, not realizing the height of the container was only one foot lower than me, I wacked my head on the ceiling and fell on the floor. “Shit!” I rolled over on my back and began the only thing I knew to do at these times; I sang. “To the moon that shines in the northern skies….” my singing was interrupted by a crash landing. I kicked open the window and crawled out onto the strange land. After wondering around I was later greeted by warlocks. “You there halt!” One shouted. ‘Yeah I’m going to halt to you’. I thought. “Where do you come from, who are you, what’s your name?” I was asked. “Great; I’m from the land Visora. . . ” I began. “You a Visoran HA!” they laughed. Fine I’ll show you then.” I grunted. I was able to conjure up what little magic I could. When I was finished I took one look at the men. Their faces all white in the shock that I really was Visoran. “Oh shit what did I just get my self into?” I wounded. “Come with us at once.” Said one. It only took me that t get scared. I ran back as fast as I could pass the oval container, and onto a beach. I looked over my shoulder to see if the guard where behind me, and when I looked I was right in the path of a young man. I couldn’t stop and he wouldn’t move. We slammed into each other in a blinding flash.” Damn it. I shouted as was on the sand. “Oh my goodness my lady, are you hurt?” he asked. He helped me to my feet and I brushed the sand off my torn and filthy cloths. “Yeah I think so.” I said. I looked into his eyes there I saw myself. “Hello, have we met. . .” “I doubt it.” “What is your name?” “Marceline” I said my eyes still locked on his. “Mines Macaire”. He said. Close enough to mine maybe he’s the 'me' of this world…I was getting too curious either that or I was dead. “Come with me and I will have you fitted with proper cloths.” “Well I would have had better cloths but those men and my arrival made it a challenge.” “Where did you come from?” “Visora.” “Unbelievable” he said. ‘Unbelievable, does that mean he believes me and is shocked or he really doesn’t believe me’? We made it to a large building. “Right this way.” he said leading me down a hallway. I was soon fitted with cloths and given a room. Oh my goodness, I can’t do this, what did I do? A knock came to the door Macaire walked in. “Would you mind coming with me”? I nodded and followed him out of the room. He led me down a dark, cold and narrow hallway where he took me in front of six tall chairs upon a high balcony. “A hall of masters.” I whispered. I noticed Macaire’s reaction. “You say you are Visoran.” One said. I bit my lower lip. “Please let me start from the beginning.” I waited for a response. A low whisper among the masters put a chill down my back. “Go ahead child.” They announced. “Yes, I am Visoran, an um superior protégé and I’m single parented, I’m only seventeen years old and I can be put to good use so you won’t have to kill me”. I studded a lot. They all joined in a long loud laugh. I got embarrassed, nervous and relied. “My sweet child we where just curious, you will be our honored guest until we can get you home.” The obvious superior of this land let out. I sighed in relief. “It’s a good thing she’s funny. . .” Macaire smirked patting my back. “There is one issue I must tell you, me and my spirit partner where separated before my . . . unexpected journey.” I emitted. Macaire told me there was nothing to worry about, I didn’t understand it because I can’t control or even barley use my magic without the presence of Mio. For some weird reason though I really trusted this stranger. Macaire took me to his house where he and his dad lived. It was silent in the house as I lay awake in a bed. I got a strange feeling, my own mother sent me to this strange unknown land, alone with no protection, and without the presence of my sprit partner. I head the father talking to someone; no one else was in the house and Macaire was in my line of sight. I crept over to the door and peered through the key hole. Macaire's dad was talking to a mirror like object similar to the one I have back at home. After closer investigation I found out it was my mother he was talking to. ‘How in the hell does he know my mother’ I tied to listen harder but so much was going through my mind.

The Gaianovain witches

Gaianovain witches have non-elemental powers: There is a sound witch, who can not only use their sound to break things, but to control them as a hypnosis, a technology/electricity witch, a witch of fate who can cause good or bad things to happen, a witch of life, a witch of intelligence, that know everything on everything and everybody, even if they never seen it before, and a superior with the power of all. I learned a lot about this strange world by being part of it; for days I helped the younger witches without magic yet to find activities to do. They where quite friendly and welcoming, and then I helped cook for the older witches. Their world was different. It was all land and had big walls that separate the kinds. Superior was in the middle a circle shaped and the others feathered out like triangles Macaire even let me teach them some visoran potions, for a trade of Gaianovain potions. With out Mio I lost all of my magic, stupidly I chose Mio to be the holder of magic instead of me, so that if I die Mio becomes a living protégé again. But if I was the holder his life sours would become mine and I could live on.

The Truth

I was getting used to the lack of magic I had getting by at first was hard but I managed to handle it, with Macaire. I was starting to enjoy this new life a little I could start new with….. ‘Am I really falling for another boy, oh no Rook I totally forgot?’ How could I leave behind Rook, well I really didn’t want leave I was forced. Macaire could tell by the look on my face that something was wrong.” You ok Marceline?” he asked. “ I miss home so much, I left my friends and family, even my spirit partner.” I sobbed. Macaire placed his arm around me and gave me a big warm hug. ‘I can’t believe I have deep feelings for this guy, well he is sexy and I’m not going anywhere, so. A few men came up to me and Marcaire, they said I was needed it the hall of masters at once. As we walked I got another sharp chill down my back, I’ve been getting those a lot lately
