sleep. After many days of living there I had grown the knowledgeable of which stones would be slippery and which wouldn't.

I crawled down the rocks and went to visit James As I approached his newly made home I saw a small green light fading and the growing stronger in four second intervals, giving a pulsing visual effect. I could smell a small scent of mint and another substance I didn’t recognize. James was apparently awake and using magic to craft something. I quietly knocked on the door, and after I heard a grunt of acknowledgment I pushed back the door and walked in. The smell hit me hard, making my eyes water. Even after being a part of magic for a couple of years I couldn’t get over how powerful some of these scents are when they a mixed with magic. As my eyes cleared I saw there was a small fire going in the center of the room, with some rocks around it to stop the shack to go up in a blaze of glory. There was a couple small fur skins inside the hut to offer more comfortable seating and there was a welcoming them to the building.

"So what brings you to my humble abode? James voice snapped me back to reality.

"I`m just here because I want to know why you really chose this girl, she’s nice but isn’t the prettiest girl around so why did you choose here?" I asked bluntly ignoring his almost high and mighty attitude.

It took a full minute of my prosecuting glare to finally get him to talk. "It’s the animals" he said as if it explained everything.

"What do you mean it’s the animals?" I asked even though I knew what he meant.

"Don’t play dumb Dan you saw it as clear as day as much I did, she heals faster than anyone I know, the animals were all guarding her while she was unconscious. Hell, it took all my reasoning to let you and me near her. She couldn`t have mind controlled all of those animals. She must be a very interesting girl for one of the mighty four to take her under their wing. The real question is which of the four?"

I just stood not bothering to breath, if we both had come to the same conclusion then we both couldn`t have been wrong. This Girl was someone who would change the world, for better or for worse.

Things just got a lot more interesting.

Chapter 5: The Flower Field

The next morning Zoe seemed to have recovered from here first time warping. So the group of three moved decided to move out of the healing station. After all the Enforcers had already sent there attack dogs (people who had powers but sided with the normal humans) after the group. This healing station would soon be overrun; it was only a matter of time. Even though they all knew they needed to move, they all felt remorse leaving this cave It hadn`t been for long but it was a home, a home they would probably never see again. James finally confronted Zoe and what went down was something like an awkward dance, neither of them knowing how to proceed until they just forgave each other. Well they forgave each other after the kick in the balls of cause, he deserved that.

-Zoe-

I had nothing to really do while I waited for the others to be ready; I tried helping Danny and James pack our bags but it was abruptly ended when two magical stones I was packing rubbed against each other creating a small, but very powerful explosion. I was now officially banded from magic until I knew what I was doing. So here I was stumbling around the forest seeing if I could find anything interesting to pass the time when I came across a clearing there were many different plants everywhere. There were; Roses, Violets, Daisy's and many other beautiful flowers, all the colors of the rainbow were represented. It was a harmony of plants. In the very middle there was a girl planting a pure white flower. She was cute in a tom boyish way she was; about my age, with rough brown hair, which must have constantly be falling across my face but she seemed to find it amusing. She was wearing a green shirt and some army green jeans. She wore no shoes and you could see my little feet as she moved around the flower, protecting and adding water and other things I didn’t realize.

"I won’t bite, don’t be afraid I am a friend" I heard her say; clearly she knew I had been watching her for some time.

"Who are you?" I stated bluntly.

She did not seem offended and simply stood up and turned around to me, showing me her dark milky grey eyes and impish features. "I am merely a messenger, now could you please help I plant the winds flower?"

She didn't seem to be that threatening, I easily had a thirty centimeters height advantage on her. Knowing that if I ran back to Dan and James telling them of this girl without any proper information they would probably not belief me. After all I was new here and didn’t know a person form a tree spirt.

"Contemplating won’t get this wind flower planted, now are you going to help me or not?" she asked almost sarcastically.

Making my decision I walked over to her and knelt down beside her. As I sat down beside her I smelt a mixture of aromas that gave told me this girl had worked in the soil for most of her life. She easily calculated the hole to die, how much water and what substances were needed to get the best out of the flower. As we worked she started singing a song in a language I had heard once before. It made me think of the beautiful flowers and the days when I could sit in the park after school, forgetting about all my troubles and just listening to nature’s wondrous noises. Before I even knew it my hands were working on their own, letting my mind take in the memories and tune of the song. Strangely this song didn’t force these memories on me but let me think of them myself.

"You have a very beautiful memories, I`m sorry for interrupting but it is time for you to go back to your friends, but if I could offer one piece of advice I would tell you to remember your routes when people judge you. The hunters will guide you down the correct path but it is your decision if you want to be the hero of your own story." said the strange lady. She gave me a beautiful smile which made her seemingly glow.

"Will I see you again?" I asked, seeing me distraught about losing someone else she relied with "If the Wind blows our paths together again. I will do everything in my power to help you in your quest. My Lady knew of your arrival so she has sent some help, The Thunder Price should be on his way.

Suddenly as if something didn’t want me to speak anymore, there was a massive explosion in the distance. It was so startling that I stood up and started running out of the flower field.

I took one last look over my shoulder to see the girl nowhere to be seen but a message burned into the rock near the plant we had just planted, it read: Your flames of Life will reshape this world. The Peace I had felt moments ago was replaced with fear. Fear of the world I had stumbled into.

chapter 6: Breachers

The Forest blurred by as I ran towards the sound of Explosions, the trees threw their branches out towards me, wiping my arms and legs. I didn't stop knowing that every second counted. The forest seemed to gain in density, the trees seemed more hostile then they had been before. Even as I was running the image of the flower garden was being removed from my conscious thought, stored in the back of my mind. The explosions were gaining in volume and force. I finally felt the small shockwaves from the explosions. Just as I felt this I saw light at the end of my own tunnel, the trees seemed to relent. They opened up to the healing cavern. It was a war zone, there were rocks everywhere. The once beautiful scenery now looked like it had been hit by a hydrogen bomb. The water from the lake kept having miniature waves rippling over it. The seemed to have run off to find shelter from the private war that had erupted into the cavern. In the middle of this living hell were Dan and James fighting twenty people with their backs up against each other’s back protecting each other’s flanks. These attackers were the armed people that had I had encountered when I was in London, The Enforcers had arrived. They all were wearing there matching Kevlar and Red Cross outfits; there was of cause was a mixture of assault rifles and other weapons in their hands. As I watched I saw the enemy launching rounds towards Dan and James, but it seemed to take no effect. I wondered why, the bullets should of ripped them apart by now, but as I watched I realized something was deflecting the bullets, an invisible force was pushing the bullets just out of range from hitting the boys. That’s when I saw the small black crystal on the tip and the bottom of a staff that Dan was suddenly flinging around, wait… when did he get that staff? The sort of force field effect must be coming from the staff itself. The battle seemed to be at a standstill with the soldiers not being able to shoot down Dan and James and James and Dan not being able to run in, because it took all of Dan’s concentration to use the small black gems to deflect the bullets.  The Enforcers suddenly dropped their guns and pulled out an assortment of weapons, from razor edged swords and axes to the blunt but deadly maces and batons. They didn’t look like they were messing around anymore. They charged in formation, swinging in deadly large arcs and short fast strikes from the people with weapons with pointed edges. To me it looked like a many headed snake, making multiple dead strikes all at once. Any normal human being wouldn’t be able to dodge all those deadly arcs but Dan and James weren’t normal. They moved in insane speeds, dodging and falling back to get away
