The Beginning

So I’m standing there in the school courtyard waiting for Marissa to punch first. So I say, “You too chicken?” Then right before my eyes, I punched her. I heard a pop and then a thud. I looked at her and I saw blood, puke, and a rearranged face. So I think I broke her nose, made her puke(she always pukes when I touch her in any way), and bleed to death out of the mouth. Hang on, let me start this story off right. My name is Andromada Strongsoul. I am 14 years old. I live in a small town in Georgia. To be exact I live in Atlanta. OK. Back to the story. After that I went to the cafeteria. My BFF’s are waiting for me at the lunch table. I say, “Don’t talk to me right now, I’m not in a happy mood.” Drew said, “The whole school knows about your fight with Marissa.” Destiny said, “ Ya,we got a new kid in homeroom. His name is Tanis Darkrose. He is so pale and if he could wear anymore black it would be a shock. He is really Goth.” I said, “Really?” Drew said, “ He is from Australia.” “Cool” I said, “ Do I really need to know that?!?!?!?!” I went to go empty my tray when out of the blue, a giant serpent slid right in front of me and Destiny was no where in sight. Then all of a sudden, Tanis ran in front of me and grabbed the serpent, and he bit the serpent’s head off. I said to Tanis, “ What the freak was that?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!” He replied in a voice that was gravely and death sounding, it felt as if it pierced me. “It was saving your butt. A thank you would be nice.” I said, “Then fine, thank you.” I said that in the most menacing voice I could find. I still couldn’t believe he bit that serpent’s head off with those razors’ he call teeth. After lunch I saw Destiny in the bathroom. She looked like her head was bit off. I asked, “Destiny, are you OK?” Destiny replied, “NO! Get out now!” I said, “K.” And I’m backing out of the bathroom. Then I met up with Drew in the library. I asked him if he saw Destiny anywhere in the past 30 minutes. “I did and I talked to her and she YELLED at me to get away. Her neck looked slashed. I asked how is she still living. She said it’s a secret.” I said, “I think she has a massive secret she is hiding.” Drew agreed with me and now we have to find out the secret.

The Rescue


Ya, so what if Tanis saved my life. But I just can’t get him off my mind. I think he has a secret too. Mostly vampires are pale and wear dark clothing. It don’t matter, I’m gonna ask Tanis to meet me at the park after school. OK. Today is weird enough. Drew AND Destiny didn’t even meet up with me today. They, I don’t think have ever been absent or never met up with me before. So today, I asked Tanis to meet me at the park, he said sure. When I got to the park, Tanis was waiting for me. I said, “Hi. I got a question, I believe in a lot of mythical creatures. Are you a creature? Just wondering.” Tanis said, “ If you really want to know, I’m the creature of the night.” He said that in a voice I could not resist. “So you’re a vampire?” I whispered. “Yes.” he said. “Are you gonna kill me or turn me into a vampire?” “Not if you don’t want me to.” he said. “I know what you’re friends are too.” he said. I said, “What?” Tanis said, “Drew is a werewolf and Destiny is a hydra.” Then all of a sudden, a white huge wolf the size of a car came out of the bushes. Then the wolf came over and licked my hand. Then Tanis almost bit the wolf but I stopped him. Tanis said, “The wolves must stop hurting others.” “What the heck do you mean? Drew is my best friend and he will never hurt anybody” And then I added, “Unlike you.” Tanis said, “Well if your gonna be like that, I might as well kill you both.” I said, “Over my dead body.” Tanis said, “That can be arranged.” Then, what I thought was drew started to growl. I think he was protecting me. Then before my eyes, Drew launched for Tanis. The fight was on. Then I thought about unicorns. My Mom gave me a unicorn charm, she said, “If you believe, you can be one too.” Unicorns have healing powers. Then before I realized it, I turned into a unicorn. When the fight was over, both Tanis and Drew were injured. Since I was a unicorn, I touched Drew with my horn. He healed up instantly. He changed back to human (me too), and kissed me and said, “Thank you. I would have died without you.” Tanis just laid there motionless. “Thank you.” Drew said. Now I’m a unicorn again and I look at Tanis and he comes back and told Drew, “The war begins, to protect Andromada.”

The Hidden War


I’m standing there, Drew is standing next to me as a werewolf. I’m a dragon, and we are both wearing armor that was made for creatures. The leader of the army is Fairy Hornswallow. She is a fairy, and every minute of the day she is wearing a jacket, but today she took it off. She has the most beautiful wings I’ve ever seen. Then the battle was on. I think I killed the most creatures. I saw blood, gore (insides), bodies on fire, and carcass’.

I Figured It All Out


Then it all stopped. I figured it all out. The war never happened, only in my head. The werewolves, vampires, the war, all in my head. “ANDROMADA!” Then I figured out I was in Geography and my pooped out teacher Mr. Sparks was yelling at me because I dosed off for 5 minutes. Then I realized Tanis, Drew, and Destiny were real. Then Tanis backed me up and said, “She is bloody OK if she doses off when she wants to. So leave her alone!” There was a gasp all around the class. Mr. Sparks said, “I don’t know how you’re old school works in Australia, but we don’t use that type of language here. You are both getting write-ups.” “I don’t give a bloody care whatsoever.” Tanis said. “That’s enough! Mr. Darkrose, to the principle’s office!” “No. I’m bloody fine where I’m at.” Tanis said. “Tanis, Andromada to the principle’s office NOW!” Mr. Sparks said.
