"Hey! C'mon Bull, gimme a break!" yelled Billy Nelson. "Ha ha!" Bull laughed, "lemme' see those books of yours, they look dirty." Bull snatched the books, dashed into the locker room, and plunged them in the scummy toilet. Billy maoned as Bull pushed the handel down, soaking his text books and destroying them. Bull's partner, Thickneck, named for his obviously thick neck, slapped him on the back. "Bull, man you a riot!" he hooted. Bull smirked and walked away, knocking Billy down with his broad shoulder.
Then, in a horrible ittalian accent, Bull cried out, "A' happy spring break to ya, loser!" Bull and Thickneck walked down the hall, stomping their feet and cheering because of no more school for two whole weeks. Meanwhile, Billy grumbled to himsalf as he fished out his text books. "I'll get them back for this," Billy thought menacingly, "I swear!"
Two weeks later, Bull was coming home from a wild party a high schooler had thrown, dazed a little drunk, Bull chuckled as he thought of his parents forbidding him to go to the party, school started in four hours. But who cares? He didn't! He trudged some more when something caught his eye. A small wooden house standing on four stubby pegs was just to the right of him. Something about it had beckond to him, and he had listened. Almost like he was in a trance, he began to walk to the house. He had just walked through the frame of the door when the door mysteriously slammed shut. The noise shocked Bull out of the trance. "Huh? What the?"
"Theodore!" A voice boomed. Bull was petrified! Nobody knew his real first name, nobody exept his family that is! But this voice was rough, and dripping with cruelness. No one in his family sounded like that! "Who are you?" whimpered Bull. "Names do not matter," rasped the voice, "Now listen to me, if you ever bully Billy Nelson ever again, consequences will come." "What happens if I still continue to mess with the nerd?' stammered Bull. The voice shrilled "Then I'll bring you down where I roam, I'll rip you apart, gobble you up, I'll..." "Noooo!" Bull cried. A gigantic disembodied claw shot out, swiping at Bull's jacket arm sleeve. Bull jumped back, ramming through the door, he dashed towards home. His feet stomping loudly on the pavement, eyes flooded with tears.
At school, Bull hadn't layed a finger on Billy on the bus, hadn't even looked at him. Everyone wondered what had happened to Bull. Though Bily was living the life, actually it seemed he even had an idea what had happened to Bull. "Hey, um Billy?" Bull said stopping him in the halls. Billy sighed and turned. "What is it Bull? Here to stuff my head in the toilet now?" Bull chuckled, but quickly covered by saying,"No, sorry about that, about everything, so we cool?" Bull extended his hand, Billy cautiously shook it. "Good," Bull sighed. Then walked into class.
Billy smiled and looked up at the sky. "Thanks, Dad," Billy whispered. "Anything for you, son," The devil rasped.
Being the devil's son gave him advantages in school, for one, all his enemies feared him, every girl in the school thought they were in love with him, and he practically ruled the school. Infact Thickneck was the only one in the school, other than teachers, who didn't fear him. while everyone warned him not to do harm to him, like everyone else, he did not listen, and like everyone else, he got his comeuppance from the devil himself. You'd think that the teachers would find it some what odd, but their theory was all the same: Must of been some spring break.
Well Billy's rein of terror had to be stopped, but no one knew how to stop him, everyone was too terrified or to stupid to come up with a way. Often people would say they would do this, or demand that, or stepping up and doing such and such, but saying and actually doing are two different things.
Late one night, the devil and Billy were discussing what their next phase of their plan. "So when do I destroy my worthless classmates?" Billy cackled. "Soon son, soon," the devil said, the added, "I love your enthusiasm though." Soon the world will be ours! Hahahahahahaaa! Suddenly, something occured to him. "Father, do I have to destroy all my classmates?" he asked. "Why of course Billy, why? What do you have in mind?" the devil answered. "Well, I kinda wanted to save Sally Delores, to be my queen, y'know?" "Billy, when we rule the world, you will see women ten times prettier than this Sally girl," the devil assured him. Billy thought before proclaiming,"I'd like that." Then they continued to laugh at their sinister deed about to be commited
Meanwhile in Heaven, God had overheard the conversation and then sought Billy's classmates.
Bull was having another of his Billy nightmares when he was awoken by a bright white light. The light consumed the darkness, but Bull was not afraid of it. The light was like something friendly, it comforted Bull, made him feel warm inside. Then, a figure formed. It was God. "Hello Theodore," God said warmly. G..God? Is that really you? Bull stammered. "Yes my child, Now listen, your brother, Billy is currently being possesed by the devil," God said.
"But," Bull said still in shock, "But Billy isn't my brother." "You are all children of God, Here you are all brothers and sisters, and I love you all equally," explained God. Bull thought about it, then finally agreed.
I am talking to everyone that attends your school, you must stop the devil and free your brother, God explained. Bull agreed to this also. "To make sure that everyone knows that you are ready to free your brother use this hand signal." God showed him the signal, Bull tried and mastered. "I must go know Theodore, sleep easy and remember, I am with you always." With that, God faded, and Bull's room was pitch black once again.
At school, everyone had remembered the hand signal, which was made after 8th period. "Billy, I know your secret," Bull said, loud enough so everyone could hear. Billy hesitated before saying,"Whatcha taikin' 'bout?" "Don't play games here Billy, we all know about the devil," Bull said. Suddenly, a cross flashed in Bull's hand. "Take the cross and tap it on Billy's head, only then will he be free," God said in their minds.
Billy gagged at the sight at the cross, then lashed out at Bull when The devil screamed ATTACK! in his mind. Thickneck and Garry, the two strongest kids in the school, pinned him down, Billy lashing out, screaming like an animal. And then, Bull said someting that he thought he'd never say ever: "Come back to us Billy, we miss you!" He tapped the cross on his head, nothing happened, then a misty, evil creature stepped out of Billy, the devil.
"MY PUPPET!" he screeched. He thought, "Hmmm.... since you beat my son, you are more powerful than I thought, so I'll take all of you instead!" The devil gnawed at their brains, trying to bend them to his will, but God had spoke: "Remember you are children of God, pull through this together!" With newfound strength, the kids stood up, Bull through the cross into the devil, exploding into a billion sparks.
Billy woke up, and looked around, daze. Then that daze was replaced by fright. "FATHER?! Where are you? FATHER?!" He contiued to yell like this untill the teachers called the cops, who for some reason, hadn't seen the fight at all. Well the police had taken him to a center which one described as the 'center where they keep the mentally challenged kids. Everyone was silent, the only one that spoke was Thickneck, who said,"Wow, he is one messed up dude.
At the center, on the first night, Billy thought, in a weak voice, "Father." The devil responded by saying,"Son." And Billy Fell unconcious, on his rusty bed.
Sunday came, and Theodore, he thought of himself as Theodore now, had just finished getting ready for church. He caught a glimpse of himself, he was new, reborn, and he liked it. At church, he sang, prayed, and did peace be with you to everyone. Normally he would have just sat in the back, wishing he could be home playing on his X-Box 360. But now Theodore was a changed person, As him and James(Thickneck) walked out of church, Theodore realized something, he was beggining a new life, a happier, loving, wise life, He liked that thought
As Theodore walked into the sun rise, he began his new life, he was going to enjoy it to, because he knew God would be there, every step of the way.
