chapter 4 - mariah
By now i had been back home 2 weeks and was already feeling comfortable . No calls from ceasar , no old friends popping up : peacful . I couldn't help but notice that even aaliyah was trying to make me feel at home . I would have never thought that she would come around to treating me like a human being . I guess time can change all people and that all people realize mistakes .
I had been crashing on the sofa at taylor's . It felt good to be back in the same place where i had grown up . My first kiss was in that building , my first blunt was out front , and the first time i even had a sleep over was right down the hall . But since i had been away my own bedroom had been turned into a junk room . All kinds of shit was in there : old clothes , shoes , a cofee table . and so on so forth . Even with me not having that rom back i felt loved . love is something that even ceasar's money couldn't give me . Too bad .
On this particular night i would learn how to let go . and maybe even love again .


I looked at the plate of food in front of me and felt disgusted . I couldn't even cook a damn meal . Ain't that some shit .
knock knock knock .
i threw away the paper plate , grabbed my hand bag and went to go answer the front door .
I looked out the peep hole .
It was ceasar .
I opened it . But didn't stay to entertain anything he had to say . I brushed past him and he knew that that meant to stay the hell away from me . He didn't follow me , he didn't even call after me at all . It kinda hurt because i was hopping he would , but at the same time i didn't wanna be bothered .

chapter 2 - taylor
I heard the door open from my bed room . And only moments later i heard it close .
" hello ? "
i knew right off rip that it was ceasar's voice . I wasn't one bit suprised that he had came up her to try and win mariah back over . It wasnt something i would expect from any other nigga though .
I started to kick him out . Yeah , i started to .
But after we went thru some liquor and a whole mix cd i couldn't put him out . He once looked like a monster to me . that was before i wasted . after i was feeling the effects of the drink his personality was the sexiest , his eyes were the prettiest ( prettier than before ) , and his words were a turn on .


chapter 3 - aaliyah
mariah arrived at my house 10 minutes til 9 pm and looking confused . She didn't have to explain to me what happened at all because i could already sense the shit .
I hated listening to her story because i still couldn't get over the fact that she was mama's favorite . The whole time she spoke i admired her beauty , her features , her confidence .
I'm not a ugly looking woman , and neither is taylor but mariah's looks couldn't be beat . And then it was taylor who had a kinda aura to her that blew any man out the water . she's what you call , stunning . she had a rare look to her that would make a dude trip over his own to feet to get her number . And me ? i'm just average . a average body , a average smile , average smartness .
" mariah please shut up ! "
Mariah gave me a stunned look . She stopped mid sentence , wiped a tear and just looked at me . Her hazel eyes turned a shade of dark black and i could see she was about to flip . But i kept my cool and remembered that i had this whole night planned out . My friends were on the way with something that would blow her out her pretty little pumps . Literally .
" WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY ? "
I laughed but i was a little intimidated . Mariah had always been able to knock any bitch out , including me " you heard me . shut yo lazy ass up . I don't wanna hear you whine and cry all fucking night . You think just because you pulled a man with some money and good looks that you better than me and taylor ? no ! think again . I remember when you sold yo ass fo' money bitch . You ain't shi- "
I couldn't even finish my sentnece before she had her hands tightly wrapped around my neck .
" Bitch im not like you . In fact im nothing like you ! I have more class , more stability . Im paid ! And you still sitting in the projects : Never been no where . never going no where . I'm here because i wanna be . I made it - " her hands loosened from around my neck a little and he r eyes held less rage like she realized somethin' , she shook her head and asked a question whiile tears flooded her face " i made it . right ? "

And with sayin that to taylor , i left . revenge . mariah ignored me so i fucked her younger sister . It be like that sometimes .
