The halls were dark, I could smell blood. My blood? Or hers? I wasn’t sure all I knew was that she was my first kill… and that she would not be my last.
Stalking like a lioness behind her prey I followed my first victim Natasha Seville. She headed down an alley then underground into a Satanist church. the halls were lined with human skulls and paintings of the devil. She turned slowly as I darted behind a large tapestry of the fires of hell. She took to a darkened hallway; I followed slowly making sure to keep my footsteps quiet. It was dark now I couldn’t see anything but I could hear that she had stopped. I could feel her breathe could just see her outline
“You betrayed me” she whispered. I pulled the knife slowly from my thigh sheath and held it loosely in my gloved hand
“No I saved you honey I tried to take you away from these people but you just kept running back to him I loved you” I replied quietly as I took a step closer gripping the knife tightly
“You are evil just like those men that stole my child” “she said looking me straight in the eyes. My blood fizzled as anger and adrenaline rushed through me “leave” she whispered
“Good bye my Love” I said politely as I slashed the knife down her face cutting her from her temple through her nose all the way down to her throat. The blood exploded and poured out as her body slumped to the ground. I knelt beside her and stabbed the knife right up to the hilt into her heart she made a gasping noise and her back arched of the ground. I ripped out the knife and watched the blood spray up out of her body. The blood pooled around her head turning her ginger curls even darker red. “I am sorry my love” I said as I kissed her ruined mouth. I wiped the blood on the back of my hand as I slowly left the chapel.
She was my first love and my first kill but she would not be the last person I stole a life from.
I burnt all my clothes that had her blood on them and threw my shoes into garbage bag with bricks and sunk them in a public wharf at midnight. I bleached the interior of my car and wherever I’d walked with my shoes on in my house. I started packing up my belongings; it was time to move on.
