Yawning at the cold sun, I stared into the clearing of the dreaded forest. Black and blue bruises hugged gashes in my tanned skin that expelled the truest, darkest red known to man. Blood. I could feel it on my flesh, and taste it in my mouth. I could see the stained ropes that had held me hostage just shy of an hour ago.And I felt triumph surge through me. I had cut the ropes that bound me by knawing at them like an animal for days.
Suddenly, I had this uneasy feeling, something wasn't right, I started to back out when a man entered the clearing. He wore all black and sported a gun at his hip. I turned and fled withought detection from the strange man. I knew that, if I were to survive, I had to run fast before he found my blood trail. I knew I had to find sivilization, and I also knew that that was not likely in a huge forest such as this.
I was just about to give up hope when I came across the edge of the forest, and into civilization. I was quickly brought to the hospital, where I was bandaged and cared for. Never the less, I died the next morning, the blood loss too great for anybody to handle.
The man that had caused me great pain was found, but let go due to the fact that there wasn't enough evidence to pin the death on him. It wasn't until three more girls died that the monster was put away for good. I have met the other three that he killed, and we will haunt him forevermore...
