“I will find him even if it’s just me alone. I will do everything in my power to catch him.”

My name is Ronaldo Paleo. I had a family of four: me, my wife Amanda, my daughter Isabella, and my son Marco. Marco was the one who died in a fire four years ago before Isabella was born. There was only one survivor. I am here to tell you the story of what happened to my life.

I was an FBI agent, and there was a murderer on the loose. This murder was one of the smartest and hardest to find that I had ever dealt with. Even though he hadn’t killed for a few months at one point, he had killed my wife a month ago, and she was the last person who he killed so far. Since the death, I had to take care of Isabella on my own. She thought that Amanda was on a business trip. She still doesn’t know and won’t know until she’s older. I will avenge my wife by catching and questioning the culprit when we find him. He will pay for the killing he has done. I will find him even if it’s just me alone. I will do everything in my power to catch him.

One day, the police station got a sighting of the murderer and quickly told us. We were chasing him down. The culprit was going fast. I kept thinking, “We can catch him, we can catch him.” That was when I realized that he was going towards my house. I thought, “No, this can can’t be. He’s going to my house. Why my house?” I parked in the street and got out of the vehicle. Then I ran into my house looking for him when I hear a scream upstairs from Isabella’s room. I quickly responded, “I’m coming sweetie, just hold on!”

That’s when I saw her body on the ground in a pool of blood. I screamed. Why did this happen? Just why. Tell me why! TELL ME!” I lost control and shot the culprit in an instant before looking at his face. I didn't care who the culprit was, He or she killed my daughter. Then I went to inspect the culprit. When I looked at his face I discovered that it was Marco, my son. I thought he died in the fire, but it turned out he was the survivor. That was the day when I decided that I was done being an FBI agent.

  My best friend Hiriko helped me with my depression caused by the trauma. He told me “It wasn’t your fault.”, but I didn’t believe him. I killed Marco, my only son, and he killed my only daughter Isabella. I wish I could’ve known that he was my son when I looked at his face. Then I wouldn’t kill him, I just would’ve caught him and ask him why he killed those people. He used to be a good kid. He was always smiling and doing the right thing. Now, I’m all alone. I have no one. No one at all. Hiriko said that “ I have friends to help me through life.” I do have friends, but how can I live through the hell that I’ve seen? My boss gave me a break of however long I need because of what happened that day. I still can’t believe that my son Marco killed his sister Isabella. Why would Marco kill his little sister?

It’s been a year now since the day when Marco killed Isabella. It’s been the same since that day. I’ve wanted to retire from being an FBI agent since that day. I think this is the last few months for me. I have a few more incomplete sheets to be dealt with. There’s going to be a job assigned to me tomorrow. ”I hope I’m ready for this,” I said to myself. Today’s the day for this assignment. As I’m going to work I see a bank robbery going on. I stop my truck, to go and stop ‘em. When I see their truck start, I get into my truck and start the truck. I go after them in my truck, while I'm catching up to them, I tell the police “there’s a robbery and I’m chasing them down”.  I tell them the information where I’m at right now. An hour later we caught the robbers. I let the police handle the robbers from now on.

I get to the FBI office,”I’m sorry that im late sir, I was chasing robbers that robbed the downtown bank.” The boss said, “it’s fine, just sit down”.  The boss said “it’s fine, you did great Ronaldo on that bank robbery”. Wait, how do you know about the robbery? The boss said “The police told me before you did. They do a decent job at what they do. The boss said, “Yes they do, yes they do.” Sir if I may ask. The boss said “Go ahead.” So what did you call me for? The boss said “I called you because of what happened a year ago.” Looking depressed and thinking about what happened to Isabella.

The boss said “Look, you don’t have to do the assignment. If you don’t want to… “ I’ll do it. The boss said, “ You sure, you know what your doing?” It’s fine, tell me what to do. The boss said, “Ok, the first thing to talk about is the killer.” The killer who killed Isabella, right? The boss said “ Yes, that’s correct. The scientists tested the body and there still collecting data.” I see, as i’m looking depressed. The boss said, “ The scientists think that someone else was the killer of Isabella Palieo.” Wait, someone else is the killer of my daughter. Then, why Marco? Just why? As I’m asking these questions while crying.  The boss said, “It’s fine, we’ll catch the murderer of your daughter.” Thank you, thank you, as I’m still crying. The boss said, “Are you going to be ok?”

I’ll be just fine, you don’t have to worry about me. The boss said, “Ok, i don’t want you to be sad all the time.” The boss said “Let’s continue,
