Chronicles of the boy who lived
The story, with all the nooks
And crannies that it had to give

I laughed and cried and was surprised
I gasped and jumped and wept and mourned
When Fred and Tonks and Lupin died
And Dumbledore most of all

I read in fascination
Adventures of the chosen one
His tale was her creation
Now all is well, the story done

People I will never meet
And faces I will never see
Still live on inside my head
Though long it’s been since this tale I read.
