when the day retires
into the shadow of the night
rises the moon
hiding with brightness his darkest side

but the light of the moon
is only a very true lie
with the raven spreading the wings
preparing to fly.


DIE DUNKLE SEITE DES MONDES

Wenn in den Schatten der Nacht
der Tag zurück sich zieht bis zum Morgen,
erhebt sich der Mond und hält
hinter der Helle seine dunkelste Seite verborgen.

Denn das sanfte Mondeslicht
ist einzig wahrer Lug und Betrug,
dahinter der Düsternis Flügel aufgespannt
und schon bereit zum Flug.
