I’d gladly be two,
have two bodies, two hearts,
but only one mind
in control.
For already there lie
two souls in my heart
in ambush to fight
one another.

I’d gladly be two,
two souls, far apart,
for the one that’s not here
would be with you.
And the one that is here,
with the one mind I have,
I could easily end
its existence.

To be one once more,

only this time two minds
in one soul.
Intertwined they would be;
as mine is the one,
and yours is
the other.
