Why This poem book was made

This book was mainly made to express myself and see what you can from your everyday life. This poetry book will be updated every once in a while for it is a hobby of mine.. poetry that is... All poetry was thought of and written by me most likely on random inspiration or passing fancy/ attitude issues haha. ( i only say it because we all have them. don't lie) I am not typically a happy person for all I put on good acts... most of the poetry will most likely be sad or dark in manner, but every once in a while their might be a nice one or two. I have decided to write this after reading some of R.Lynn's Publishings. Some of her recent works have given me a new look at different perspectives. Ussualy something not well enough honored.
Also this poetry book is meant to intrigue more than anything books are just words that are not easily written but simple when in your head. this book is dedicated to all who read it and will read it for i have no source of special inspiration other than all the people i meet on a day to day basis.

Life is rythmn
Life is a rhyme
Life is life
Till you leave it behind
Then it is won
The battle yet lost
The war is ended
Your soul it has cost.

The World Red

The ground runs red
In the world of the dead
The once lived reeling
With flesh peeling
Blood coats the land

With lifes cost,
And souls lost
Soldiers fighting a lasting battle,

But is it worth
The price they pay
In the land of the dead
Where their blood taints
The world red?

My Place Alone

My place is in the woods
where flowers blossom
and water flows
all around
coveted by nature
beneath sweet moonlight
all alone on the sodden ground
wet yet warm all around
with a gentle breeze
and shaking leaves
while the birds sing their songs
this place i wish to believe
is not yet found
by anyone but me.

Sounds are Symphony

sounds are special
one and all
big or small
all in all
each is special
all unique
but what sounds can you create
each is you
and you are it
you makes its life short but grand
that makes a mark
that can be special used
depending on who its to
make many sounds in symphony
words are songs and each define
the person you are
at the place and time.

Judging a Book

judging a book
is not simple you see
for one word
it is not to be
it always changes
in one's own mind
each stanza
each line
so try your best

In the Trees

in the trees
the spirits thrive
watching all
in scant light
willow wisps
they are today
rarely seen
except when out to play
we call them ghosts
we stay afraid
but they are just
spirits of life past
gaurding a place
they hate or love
they do their job
and we do ours
all in all
it doesnt matter.

A Visit to the City

Staying in the city
Seeing shining lights
Colors pass when you drive
Making your eyes bulge and swirl
looking down at people
from places up above
Quite pretty
so say i do
though its pretty scary
thinking you might fall
but then again
its a city
one and all in all

Winter's Song...

Every Winter
it's the same song and dance
all the decorations
amongst the scrachy plants
Every Winter
is a holiday to me
not for chrismas
or for family
its for the scenery
I see the snow so white
shining against dawns early glow
begging to be seen
begging to be known
and once its seen
you never forgot
that first snowy morning
that is winter's first and final
song.

A Couple

A couple is ones bonds
not a social status
it tells of someones feeling
meant strong and long to last
just like a marrige
between ones who love
not like the selfish
who couple to only gain
a couple is self nurished
extremely hard to break
they do it for the other
to support and hold long last
forging a new future
building off one's past

Friends

Friends are worth having
they can be a lot to take
they mean only good
bad by mistake
they help when you need
they listen to your pain
they work on selfless deeds
helping to relieve pain
friends are special
truly hard to find
they worth the trouble in
consuming ones own time.

Family

Family is special
with us thru thick and thin
giving us a hassle
but also gentle love
they aren't always trouble
though we think they are
they only do it 'cause they care
not that they ever wouldn't dare
we know enough
they have fangs to bare.

Twisted Fate

The river runs red
In the world of the dead
Their flesh is peeling
their desire fleeting
destroying the life
they once had created
their hunger and desire
not yet sated
in the world of the fated
the devil will cry
but not me
not I
I watch this terror
this horror unabated
with a hungry smile on my face
the twisted smile
of a twisted fate

Little Ragetty Anne

There was a little doll
known as Ragetty Anne
who fell on the beach
inside the deep sand
she twisted and churned
like in quicksand
for she was no doll
just Ragetty Anne
she thought not herself
the little white doll
stuck in the sand
with a mind of her own
and a stick in her hand
she dug herself out
little Ragetty Anne
this was so sad
as she was grabbed by a hand
and throuwn in a bag
that was the last we saw
of little
Ragetty Anne
